This is, without any doubt, one of the Silliest movies ever created by humans anywhere in the World. i love to watch it every ten and 20 years!

Tom Hanks Fan
Love love love this movie! Have for many many years! My VHS version just went out, so just bought the DVD and fantastic picture quality! I think this is one of his best movies, and Meg Ryan can't be beat!

Joe v volcano
Rarely does campy humor work so well and work for all ages. An early Hanks/Ryan collaboration, which deserves to be a cult classic.

Great movie!
I guess by today's standards it's a bit slow, but it's a great movie. Makes one think about how you live your life. Oh and the value of quality luggage.

To get you thru LIFE'S "bumps on the road"!
BEST Tome Hanks & Meg Ryan oldie flick to watch when you feel down to get you uplifted again. Husband & I watched this for the 1st time when we were going thru some hard financial times. Every time we feel "down" we watch this to give us a "life" which it is guaranteed to do. Buying this one for dear friend diagnosed with cancer to get him thru the "bumps on the road" to recovery!

Good movie
I bought Joe Versus the Volcano on dvd back in 2007 at walmart. I haven't seen it in years so I decided to see it again now 8/7/19. It's a very good movie with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. I have a blue ray player that up converts dvd's to near HD quality and the dvd looks great on a 1080p HD tv.

Good Old movie, very entertaining
It is a good movie, you just have to pay attention to it at the start. I think of this movie every time I go into work.

Not meeting up to the usual T.H., M.R. snuff.
I wouldn't say I disliked it. It seemed more liked a kid's movie. With Tom hanks and Meg Ryan I didn't expect that. It was a comedy about a guy with a lousy job who thinks he only has a few months to live and some guy talks him into jumping into a volcano because the natives believe that will save their island. And since he doesn't have anything better to do he goes along with it. If I was 12 I probably would have thought it was pretty funny.
