Training wheels came off in the first day
I couldn't have found a better bike for my son to learn how to ride. He had a 12 inch bike before with training wheels but we never got those off. This bike doesn't have the pedal back brake like most which Ben always would push back on and stop his progress. Within 5 minutes on this bike he could use the two hand brakes. The same day we took off the training wheels. We spent a little more because Joey advertised it was easier to ride. I think it was definitely easier for him to learn on this bike.

No issues with this bike. Good price!
Can't say anything negative about this bike. Although it looks like it may typically be bought for a female rider, I bought this for my sister's son. He wanted a bike in pink or red for his birthday and I thought this would be perfect. I haven't seen him ride it yet but my sister said he absolutely loves it.
