this was a gift that I purchased for a fruend. He's into history and had not seen this movie. He said that it was a good drama based on a historical figure, and he enjoyedcit. I personally have not seen it yet.

Very nicely done. Quite factual. I believe every high school senior should watch this series alongside their parents before heading off to college. So little is truly absorbed through reading sometimes and this is our history. Also, there is a well written book containing the letters written between the two, John and Abigail Adams.

as someone who's not very into history I greatly appreciate this rendition of the story.

The movie was well done. It was a sad story, so I didnt enjoy it that much. John Adams was portrained as a Christian in the book about him by McCullough. He was just a religious man who didn`t change much over the course of his life until the very end in this Warner Bro`s portrait of him. Still stubborn and opinionated until the very last few years of his life. For learning about the history it was a good movie.

Well done film about American history, but disappointed to see two incidents of nudity in what we thought would be safe family viewing. I don't get why Hollywood feels it necessary to ruin hours of fine entertainment with short clips of nudity when implied actions would suffice. I did not see a rating in the ad, so assumed it would be suitable for all ages.
