John Frieda Midnight Brunette Hair Womens Deepening Shampoo, Cocoa & Primrose Oil, 8.3 oz

I have been using this shampoo for the last few months. Not only does it give exceptional deep multi tone coverage , it seems to bring out the highlights in my hair. I also have grey hair only around my face and was tired of permanently dying my hair. You cannot tell that I have any grey! It seems to both cover them and the few which are resistant actually look a bit dirty blonde. I do keep the shampoo on my head the entire time I bathe and lather it in first at the facial hairline where the grey is located and work back the lather. I use a natural home made conditioner 30 minutes before washing my hair so I have no need to use any conditioner after rinsing my hair (which I begin wetting my hair in hot water before shampooing and then rinse the shampoo in warm water briefly, ending with cold water). This shampoo gives my hair exceptional volume, always looks healthy. shiny, good multi toned color and beauty. I just ordered 3 tubes via Internet bc my local store ran out.

I've been using John Frieda shampoos and conditioner since High School. I'm now 31 and still an avid lover of the products, my hair is super thick and course and this shampoo always leaves it smelling good and soft, I can't speak for if these products will work for everyone's hair type but as far as mine goes it works wonders!

Tried this shampoo for brunette colored hair and found it helped with delaying coloring my hair less often. I keep restocking it as long as it does the job!!!

Great shampoo. I used this product in conjunction with the conditioner and colour treatment in the same line, all of which I received for free for testing purposes. After using all three products for a while I noticed a subtle and gradual deepening of my brown colour. I really liked how silky, smooth and managable my hair felt after every use, without feeling like it was over conditioned and heavy. I LOVE that it can be used on natural or colour treated hair with no ill affects. I wish it offered a little bit more grey coverage but I realize it's not a colour so overall I am happy with the product. #contest #MyJohnFrieda

I absolutely loved this shampoo! The first thing I noticed was how lovely the consistency was and how great the shampoo smelled! I didn't need a lot to cover all of my hair and as soon as I applied it I could feel my hair becoming more manageable. When I rinsed it out my hair felt silky and smooth. I would follow this product with the accompanying conditioner and then once a week I would follow the conditioner with the hair treatment. After my shower my hair was always super manageable and smelled wonderful for hours! I noticed my hair colour becoming noticeably more even and deeper. #contest #JohnFrieda

I'm a big hair junkie and have always loved John Freida's Brilliant Brunette Collection. Slipped past me for a few years, popped into my head, and i thought why not give this new formula a shot? absolutely love it! smells incredible, my hair is clean and soft, and my naturally wavy (yet colored) dark brown hair loves the way it makes my hair feel and smell. Highly recommend to my fellow brunettes (blondes and reds, they have a line for you too! try it!)

I received this sample for free as part of the Glam Sense program. I haven't tried John Frieda shampoo in the past, so this is my first time using it as well as reviewing. I have natural brown wavy hair that can be frizzy at times. I've been using this product for close to three weeks now, between 2 - 3 times a week (basically after each swim practice). I haven't noticed too much of a colour difference, and that may be because my hair is naturally darker brown. With that being said however, I do enjoy the shampoo for its other properties. It doesn't leave a build up on my hair like some other products and my hair therefore feels more clean. It also helps tame my frizzy hair even though it doesn't claim to be a shampoo for frizzy hair. I received this shampoo as part of the #Myjohnfrieda #contest . Although it did not deepen the colour of my hair as much as i thought it would, you could still see a change and there were other features I was pleased with. It smells fantastic, left my hair clean and removed any build up from the hair products I use. My hair was shiny and my curls still looked great.

I love this shampoo. First thing I noticed was the smell. I have never smelled shampoo like that. Usually it is fruity, but this is like a beautiful expensive perfume that the smell lasts in your hair all day with too. My only downfall was it makes my hair sort of dry (which is nothing that the matching conditioner cant fix)
