Johnson Pump 4000 GPH Bilge Pump 1-1/2" Discharge Port 12V

I bought this pump to move water in my re-circulating gold mining sluice and it's fantastic for this use. It is able to supply more than enough water for a 14 inch wide sluice box and may even require a valve to be installed to throttle back the flow. I live in the Arizona desert and if I want to use a sluice for my gold prospecting I have to haul my water into the site and having an effective pump system is vital. If you're running a recirculating sluice system, I can't imagine a better pump for this use unless you go to a gas powered one. I had check with local boating supply shops and none of them in my area had this pump in stock. After searching on-line I found that WalMart had the best price for this unit. Shipping was free and I received my pump before the arrival date stated when I ordered. All in all I got the best deal possible and am very satisfied with both the pump and WalMarts service.
