We originally selected Johnson's Baby Body Lotion for our granddaughter when she came over. Once we received it my wife and I both tried it to see how well it worked and have to say it is one of the best lotions we have tried in years. It is not a "greasy" type of lotion, instead it soaks into your skin within minutes and leaves you feeling smooth and soft. The scent is wonderful, not overpowering, it actually is a very calming scent which is great for little ones. One thing that I noticed was due to age and weather my skin has a few areas that seem to itch often. I used this Johnson's Lotion on those areas and low and behold it stopped any itching that I may have had! I have always heard that oat was good for itching and now I do believe it. Both my wife and I would recommend this lotion, hands down, for your little one or anyone older that just needs a great lotion.
Johnson's Baby Body Lotion with Vanilla and Oat Extract is a pleasant, calming moisturizer for baby and adults as well. It contains no parabens, phthalates or dyes, but it does contain a host of other chemicals. As vanilla oat lotion, it contains Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernal Extract. I think it provides a pleasant, nourishing experience for baby after a bath. The scent is very soft and refreshing. I don't feel it is overbearing for baby. It provides lasting moisture. The lotion is creamy and light. The pump handle is large, making it easy to operate. The plastic bottle contains 16.9 fluid ounces.
I LIKE THIS BABY BODY LOTION PRODUCT IT SMELLS NICE AND IT HAS A VANILLA OAT LIGHT PLEASANT SMELL TO IT. THE BABY LOTION IS PRETTY THICK AND FEELS SO SOFT AS YOUR'E PUTTING IT ON YOUR SKIN AS WELL TOO. THIS LOTION HAS A NICE SOFT AROMA AND IT STAYS ON YOUR SKIN AND THAT I DON'T MIND BECAUSE IT'S A LIGHT BABY LOTION SMELL IT DON'T BOTHER ME AT ALL. YES I DO RECOMMEND THIS BABY BODY LOTION PRODUCT YOUR BABY'S SKIN WILL FEEL SO SOFT AND SILKY TOO A LITTLE BIT OF THIS LOTION IS ALL YOU NEED. A BABY BODY PRODUCT LOTION LIKE THIS I WOULD BUY MORE THEN 1 THAT'S FOR SURE IT'S A PRETTY GOOD LOTION FOR YOUR BABY AND IT'S NOT HARSH TO THE SKIN AS WELL TOO. THE SKIN LOOKS HEALTHY NOT JUST SOFT BECAUSE IT'S CLINICALLY MILDNESS PROVEN. THIS BABY BODY LOTION WITH OAT EXTRACT FOR 24 HOURS MOISTURIZATION, AND IT HAS NO PARABENS, PHTHAIATES, OR DYES. AND THIS IS WHAT I LIKE MOST OF ALL THAT IT DON'T CONTAIN STUFF LIKE THIS A PRODUCT YOU CAN TRUST I TRULY LIKE THIS PRODUCT.
The Johnson's Skin Nourish Vanilla Oat Lotion is a great product. It has a pleasing fragrance, and isn't over-bearing. As a frequent label-reader, and as someone concerned about the genuine purity of products, I was glad to see that it contained no dyes, parabens and phthalates. Another plus was the fact that it is pH-balanced. Too many products these days lean toward the acidic end of the scale. The texture of the lotion was smooth and easy to apply. It's not too thick and not too runny. Neither is it greasy or sticky. The only issue I had was the pump. Most lotion bottles, once opened, stay open or "unlocked". This pump is only open when to the front, and is locked when turned. This feature might be a big plus for some households, but isn't in mine. Overall, I'd give this lotion a thumbs up and would try it again. .
I really like this lotion by Johnson's. It has a mild smell of vanilla. I love the smell. It has no parabens, phthalates or dyes. It is not thick or oily feeling. It is wonderful when used after a warm bath. It has oat extract for 24 hour moisturizating. It's a nice large 16.9 fl oz bottle. The lotion is gentle and hypoallergenic. My whole family has tried this lotion and really like it.
I received Johnson & Johnson “Johnson's Skin Nourish Vanilla Oat Lotion”. The first thing I noticed was the pump dispenser. The wide, flat triangular pump top is easy to grab and pump. A simple twist of the pump top either locks or unlocks the pump action and keeps it from being clogged. The lotion container is a creamy yellow which appeals to my eye and makes me think of the lotion as clean, light and fresh – I found the scent was too. The packaging described the lotion as “specially designed for baby's delicate skin” and “nourishing for kids and adults, too”. The lotion contains oat extract and I was not sure what that would do to nourish my skin. I did try it on my elbows where I had had a thick and painful rash for a couple of days. It moisturized the area immediately and took away the pain in less than five minutes. The skin there still feels and looks a little rough but it's healing. The lotion leaves my skin feeling nice to the touch. I am not sure what made the lotion work on my skin, but I will continue to use it, especially on any area that tends to need moisturizing such as my elbows, knees and heels.
Johnson's Baby Body Lotion with Vanilla & Oat Extract, 16.9 fl. oz........... This lotion's best feature is the top. It is to open & close the pump. To the front is open. To the side is closed. This design makes it easier to store or stock too. Easy peasy. Making accidental pumps nearly a thing of the past. Like, when you used to have to push down with all your might to be able to get the pump's handle tube to go back down into the product in order to close or lock it to avoid spurting or spillage. This top ia excellent. No effort needed to open use & close. Now the smell is dominant sweet vanilla smell that is accompanied with a fruity essence which is good. And yes, I said fruity. Maybe the other chemiacal make up produces the fruity backdrop of which one ingredient used as a selling point as being shea butter. The finish is definitely a mild vanilla flavored fruity sweetness. It has some back notes of something fruity added despite not being marketed or advertised with fruit association. Especially, because I'm not a fan of vanilla fragrances where the dominant or top note is vanilla. Not at all! But, with this, it's pleasantly palatable. The texture is light & goes on easily with a smooth feeling left behind. It's alleged ro be hypoallergenic & dermatologist tested. So far so good. Now go & rub, rub, rub right after you exit the tub.
Johnson's skin nourishing vanilla and oat lotion has a very pleasant scent. It is not oily, it is very soothing and moisturizing. The lotion is dermatologist tested to be gentle and safe for a baby. I really like the scent it is gentle and not overwhelming. Also, I received the Johnson's & Johnson's skin nourishing lotion from the Spark Reviewer Program without any cost to me.
The bottle for the new Johnson & Johnson products have all received a new shape. The new spouts should enable easy distribution of the products. Upon receiving the Johnson & Johnson Vanilla and Oat I noticed a thinner lotion. I'm sure that is due to the new natural formula. The thinner formula will help the lotion to be absorbed by a bay's skin quickly. I tried the lotion on myself immediately after exiting the shower and drying off. I was not feeling this lotion for me. I am not in love with the fragrance. The lotion does not work well on this adult body nor my tween granddaughter's body. If you have a baby or toddler I am sure it would will work great. I can not use this lotion as just a hand lotion, it left my cuticles extremely dry.
I like this baby lotion. It moisturizes gently, but works really well. It's a little watery but I guess you don't want anything thick that your baby could lick/ingest. The lotion is a light yellow and has a light, pleasing scent. I thought my pump was broken, but I did get it to work after a minute or two of messing with it.
