Johnson’s Baby Lotion, Safe for Newborns, 27.1 Fl oz

This review has nothing to do with Walmart. But J%26J's changed the scent of a lotion that has been the staple for decades! They changed the formula also, its now like Baby Magic Lotion. Big Mistake Johnson and Johnson! Plus raised the price. Now i have to find original scent bottles before gone for good. Very disappointed!

The product is great, the problem is when you have it delivered from the store, half the time somebody has already pumped your lotion out, it’s not clean, they should put some kind of safety seal on there where people cannot just walk into the store and use it. That’s not right and I’m not gonna use it if it’s been used so I sent several of them back.

The new scent is heavy, perfumey. Not at all suitable for a baby lotion, or those sensitive to loud scents. It still has the same texture and moisturizes well. I've used this for many, many years, but I will not buy it again because of the new scent .

I have used this product for the last 20 Years at least. They have changed the formula and it's completely different now. It doesn't spread as easily it's greasy feeling now and it's almost scentless

The new formula stinks, literally! I don't know why you would change a perfectly good, classic product. I've used it since I was fourteen and it was the perfect lotion. Smooth, lightly scented, just right! But the new formula is watery but sticky at the same time, and the scent is atrocious! So strong and overpowering, like the soap in a public bathroom. Until you change it back I will take my business elsewhere.

Your new formula lotion smells feculent! I’ve been using your Johnson %26 Johnson‘s products for over 20 years. I’ve never smelled such a foul product for newborns/babies before. What a letdown!… You’ve definitely lost this customer Johnson %26 Johnson!! And I bought your products consistently every single month, for the past 21 years. I have three children and have used your products on every one of my kids and now, I’m not gonna be able to get to use your product on my last child because the smell of your new lotion is so bad!!!.. It smells like death in a bottle.. 🤢🤮 it’s so sad. I feel like all these major companies are conforming to the world because the world is changing and they think their products have to change as well.

The new formula that they have started using is absolute garbage. The smell is so pungent and smells like old floral perfume. Also has a very strange feeling on the skin after it’s rubbed in. I’ve been using this lotion for over 20 years and have never had an issue until now. I’ve returned the bottle that I’ve purchased and will have to find a new brand now.

This new formula is NOTHING like the original. The baby powder scent is gone, lotion is really runny and it leaves a sticky feeling on the skin. I'm really disappointed because this was my favorite lotion, I don't think I would buy this again.

they changed the recipe on this and now its a less effective baby lotion. its feels and smells different now and i hate it. its a zero compared to the old version

They changed the original scent, now it smells like aloe Vera and very runny .. extremely unsatisfied. I will be returning this and not buying again. Been using it for years on all my kids. Hopefully they go back to the original scent soon, this is not it!
