i really love enjoy using this baby product every day as well also along with the baby lotion it really smells like classic baby scent also just like the head to toe baby wash johnson's baby lotion also as well this is great for adults also as well and i really love using this product also right after getting out the tub as well it is amazing perfect
After I get a Brazilian waxing, the woman puts on baby oil on my skin. When I get home, I apply it a few times over the next few hours and it keeps my skin so soft and smoothe. It heals the irritation so quickly and prevents the skin from becoming crackling dry there. Would recommend anytime.
If you have dry skin this product is great. I like to pour some in a bath, it sinks in and softens/moisturizers skin really well that way. After I get out of the bath if I'm going to bed I usually massage some more on while I'm still wet as a great over night treatment, or if I'm going out I'll put on either the baby lotion in colder months or the baby powder in warmer months. It's also good for mixing with perfume oils if you use them, you only need a couple drops to about a spoonful of oil (if that) and it helps the scent spread better because you can rub it all over, as opposed to just being dabbed on the wrists or so, and it makes the perfume oil last longer.
This product works great and was recommended by a doctor to use right after a bath to seal in moisture for his eczema. With all of the concerns about fragrance being an irritant I was surprised to find that Johnson and Johnson didn't make a fragrance free form of baby oil. Luckily it doesn't seem to bother him but I would prefer to stay away from fragrances just in case. These days less is more, lets keep it basic.
I was trying to find a product that would lock in the moisture after showering and I had heard that baby oil would do it. I tried this product and was happy with it as a moisturizer but as the days went by I was finding small itchy bumps on my skin. At first I couldn't figure out what I had gotten into but after a week I finally realized that the only thing I had been doing differently was using the baby oil. Hopefully now that I have discontinued using the product the rash will go away quickly.
Don't use this particular one. Had rashes on whole body of my baby after applying two days. Stopped using after that and everything became normal. Johnson is a good brand but don't know how this can happen. Same happened to one of me friend also after a week.
I am not happy with the "improved" formula. I have been buying Johnson's Baby Oil all my 53 years of life. I have relied on this always being a quality product. There is no substitute...This new formula feels gritty and dries up so much faster.. If I could return it to the supermarket, I would.
I bought this per dermatologist to soften skin on my legs and arms as I was receiving precancerous lesion treatment. I had severe itching over the areas involved from the beginning. Mypost treatment healing process went from bad to worse. I kept putting more baby oil on and started applying all over after showers, not recognizing it was not dermatology treatment sideffect. When I started covering myself I woke up in morning covered with generalized swelling all over and severe hives and itch. Everywhere.i stopped baby oil abruptly. It's been two weeks now. I'm still covered with sores in various stages of healing from scratching in the end, but I am done with hives, itch and baby oil.
I used JnJ baby oil today after bath first time on my 2 months old baby, she had terrible allergic reaction and rash all over her body, which discovered after noticing the baby not being able to sleep and crying non stop. Showered her quickly to remove any remaining oil and applied calamine
Used this on my little 2 month old girl after a bath. She broke out in a severe red rash all over her face and body! Took 24hrs to go down. Very upset and disappointed in this product! We are now using another brand of baby oil and it creates no rash on my babys skin.
