Soothing Vapor Bath for Babies

Eiruj5 July 13, 2018

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually use this in the evening which means bath-time before bedtime because it soothes, it calms and helps my baby to sleep better at night. It has a very mild scent and its pump is easy to use. I like the product.

I love this product!!!

Ashley7 July 18, 2018

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little one always is congested we had to buy a vaporizer for his room and rub him down with vicks before bed. Taking a warm bath using this soothing vapors bath has been a blessing, not only does it help him, he loves it and seems to work for him making him a happier baby!!!

This product is the only product I use on my grandchildren

Lyn52 August 25, 2016

I have used johnson's throughout the years on my children and now my grandchildren. It has a clean, fresh odor, and non greasy application. It it hypoalergenic so that reduces risk of rash or irritations to child's skin. I would proudly recommend it to anyone.

I love it...

Acne! October 28, 2013

I makes my skin feel soft but feels a little oily in the summer, which is why i only use half the amount I usually use in the summer. On a windy day the moisture really sinks in and leaves my skin feeling and looking great. I started using it when my baby sister was born and have used it since, I have yet to try the other moisturizers but this one is AMAZING!

Has the formula been changed again?

Terry's girl November 27, 2014

I have been using Johnsons baby lotion for many years, swore by it, and only went off it for a short time a few years ago when you changed the formula and it brought me out in a rash- happily, soon afterwards you reverted to the original formula again. Lately though, coinciding with the 'no parabens' mention on the label, my skin has started reacting to the lotion quite badly- tonight's looked in the mirror after using it and my face was red and stinging, with a rash and even some hives! I have had to stop using it...so disappointed because it used to really help my skin.

Why did you change from the ORIGINAL formula again?

tricia January 25, 2014

The ORIGINAL formula I would give 10 stars. I went through this several years back - I'd used J&J baby lotion since I was 15 (I'm now close to 50)with compliments from friends, family, etc. about how soft and smooth my skin looked, but then J&J changed the formula by adding mineral oil to the ingredients; I cannot use products with mineral oil. I was SO disappointed that I called the 1-800 number. A few years later they changed back (no mineral oil#. I started buying it again. About 10 years ago, I started thinking that maybe my aging skin needed something more heavy duty, so I started experimenting with other lotions without much satisfaction, so a couple of years ago I decided the heck with it - I'm sticking with the tried and true! Imagine my horror when I saw that they had put the mineral oil back in! I have one bottle without mineral oil that I've been hoarding #think I found it at a store closing - all dusty and way back on the shelf). PLEASE - Johnson & Johnson - PLEASE change back to the original ORIGINAL formula - I'm willing to pay more for the orignal baby lotion!

Not the best for infants!!!

MommaBear January 30, 2015

For toddlers+ this is a great lotion. Suited perfectly fot their skin. However, for infants, the lotion actually works the opposite way on them and tends to dry them out. Newborns tend to have extra dry skin (considering they lived in water for 40 weeks, it makes sense the air would dry them out.)

not mild towards sensitive skin!

15girl April 3, 2015

I am a 15 year old girl who happens to have very dry (eczema-prone) skin on my arms. This makes it difficult for me to find a lotion which would not cause rashes to blow up all over them. However, since I believed that J&J is a trustworthy brand (& also the fact that baby lotion would be milder on the skin), I decided to try it and for the first few days, it was good! No rashes appeared and my skin felt moisturized. Unfortunately on the fourth day, my skin had itchy bumps all over and it was terrible. I had formed new scars because of the horrible itch. After stopping the lotion usage for a day, my skin felt less itchy and it wasn't as red as before. I hope that J&J will try to improve this product so as to cater to the needs of the eczema-prone. After all, babies might also have a terrible allergic reaction like me.

Baby lotion irritated my grandson's skin!

DeNecie December 23, 2014

My daughter and I used Johnson's Baby Lotion on her 2-week old son and that was a disaster! He broke out in an awful rash everywhere that I used the product. It created red whelps on his face, legs, arms, neck, stomach, and back! Although we stopped using the product after only two days, the rash became so bad that we had to take him to the doctor for treatment. He is now 7-weeks old and we are still treating his skin. At this time, his skin has peeled, changed colors, and has become rough and scaly. He once had even, brown-toned skin; it is now patchy (light and dark), especially in his face. As his grandmother and the one who applied the lotion to his skin, I am extremely distressed because I hate to think that I might have caused permanent damage to his baby skin (eczema). Needless to say, I do not recommend this product. We will continue to use moisturizers and pray that his skin will return to its pre-Johnson's state . . . brown and beautiful!

ONE UNHAPPY "MA"

May February 28, 2015

I have used Johnson's baby shampoo, also have used the head-to-toes body wash for my four month old. Both of them were gifts. I would say I have no problems with it. When I asked my husband to get me a baby lotion that would be good for her hands and face the Pharmacy did recommended the Johnson's baby lotion. All three times I have used it on her she ended up with bunch of tiny bumps on her face (allergies), itchy nose, eyes and Sleepless nights (Non stop itching) When I stopped using it is when she didn't itch her face and slept longer. Even reading the ingredients on the back isn't so pleasing. I would NEVER EVER buy this item again.
