I love these! I know I can clear my childrens ears without the fear of damaging anything. They are also wonderful for their little noses when feeding them babyfood and they move, oops! LOL!
These are the only safety swabs I use for my baby and toddler. With other brands the cotton just falls apart and doesn't seem safe to put in my children's ears. I know Johnson's safety swabs have been discontinued. Please bring them back!
Although I have a difficult time fing this product, it's perfect for around my dogs evens and paw pads and ears. We also use for my grandchildren .
These safety swans allow for you to safely clean the external ear of your baby or toddler. They are easy to use and work well. They aren't meant for cleaning deep inside the canal, so don't push it in. It's for gentle external ear cleaning. They aren't costly and are amazing! Give them a try. My son doesn't mind cleaning his at all!
I've been using these on my daughter for a couple months now. They are the perfect size and the swab shape doesn't let you go too deep in your child's ear which is awesome.
These may be good for little ones...but not for me. I used the old cotton swabs made by J&J and they were the best on the market. I have tried every brand AND NONE MEASURED UP. Why can't you make both types..one for little ones and one for the general population. Guarantee they would fly off the shelves!! PLEASE PUT THEM OUT THERE AGAIN.
Yes this design is great for safety for babies, toddlers. But speaking for me and my husband they definitely aren't for us "we like the original design", they are more user friendly - for us and hopefully for many other adult consumers buying your brand. It's been our experience that your original Q-tips had more padding than others on the market. Just thought I'd give our review on this product. Thank You for the chance to five our 2 cents worth. Hope you will continue the original Q tips along with the swabs too, so it is benefiting everyone. Many out there are thankful for your unique products, which are far above all others. Thanks again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's impossible to see the swabs through the packaging, but the sticks are plastic when they should be paper. This is 2025. We are all aware of single use plastic. The packaging and the verbiage on the packaging are both misleading.
I bought these yesterday and opened the box today. The rods are made of plastic and that is not indicated on the box. I am very upset and disappointed. I bought these over the generic they were next to on the shelf. The generic said they had plastic rods, this box says “100% cotton” and “made of cotton” with no mention of anything else. I called the number on the box to complain and the representative took my statement. I think the box should say the rods are plastic and I think Johnson's Baby should stop using plastic for single use.
Each safety swabs is made of the cotton swabs on a piece of plastic!! Not only is this totally unnecessary as paper holds up just fine for the job—the swabs are used for mere seconds—but the package is misleading. The packaging states everywhere “100% cotton”, with no mention of anything plastic. Minimizing/eliminating single-use plastic is the easiest way to reduce plastic in the environment. I can think of few uses more frivolous than this, and the cotton swabs would function fine with rolled paper and the stick. Had I known these swabs were plastic, I would have purchased another brand or done without. Johnson and Johnson please do better! This needs to change.
