Very flavorful. Great on grill or stove top with favorite rice. Zatarains is my number one. Guess what? General Mills bought Zatarains. No more Zatarains sausage and rice is leaving as it sells out.Johnsonville never disappointment. Johnsonville mobile grill unbelievable! Hope it comes to your Hometown!
now this is the best sausage that I've been able to find up North . I'm from Southeast Texas and am used to very good smoked sausages. Can't find any this far North. Was extremely happy when I found Johnsonville. love it 😀 😍 ❤️ ♥️
These sausages are quite spicy which is the reason I buy them…If you haven't tried them and you like spicy food Please try them they will be on your Grocery list from now on !!!
I like really spicy things but Johnsonville still delivers while being mild enough for my mother to tolerate for gatherings and the price usually beats out the other big name-brand.
I love this sausage and use it in a crock pot with corn, black beans, and Rotel tomatoes. So good on a rainy or chilly day.. Top with a dollop of sour cream and cheese.
The andouille sausage is tasty, spicy, and hot. Have paper towels ready to press out the excess grease. There's a high fat content as you would expect as is the case with all sausages of this type. Can't eat this too often since my cholesterol is ok and not on meds for that. Gotta keep arteries clear like they are. Can't recommend. Need to switch to turkey sausage and add red pepper flakes.
Good flavor and texture, good price too. For an easy dinner, I slice up half of the ring and put it into my rice steamer with yellow rice. As an alternative you can do the same with macaroni and cheese. Cook it all in the rice cooker, just use less water. Scrumptious!
I've always thought most smoked sausages taste about the same even though they're described differently. So I've never figured this Cajun flavor would be anything special either. I bought it by accident and actually the spices ended are really good and raise it to something different that even though it costs more because the flavor isn't very common I now go to the trouble to get and will pay more for sometimes. If you're looking for something a little more special than your everyday smoked flavored Frank this is one to try
The sausage is pretty good. It's got a little bit of a bite to it so it's a little bit spicy if you want something like that, this would be the one to choose.
This item had good taste and texture. It was far too spicy, even my lips burned and I only took 3 bites. I have pancolitis so I can't eat too spicy of food. I should of known better. If you can tolerate spicy food then by all means this should work for you. My only complaint was it is too spicy.
