This product qualifies for an Italian Spaghetti dinner in addition to ground beef! This is a great product they sister have put together so wonderfully that cannot be resisted! Please keep your item in the store that qualifies for an Italian Spaghetti dinner! Thank you!
I grew up not liking Italian sausage which I didn't realize it's only because my cheapskate mother bought the cheapest stuff she could find. I'm glad I gave them another try -- delicious! Of course, Johnsonville knows MEATS! And, it's true. I like these "hot" kind vs the mild for an extra flair/flavor..gives the ziti an extra punch! When these bad boys hit your taste buds, you're sent into another realm. The spiciness keeps you grounded. Each bite is better than the last.
Brats. Been in a Bratwurst mood for the past month or so and these are easing my cravings. Very good flavor with a good snap that I love. As I just nuke these in the microwave for about a 1 minute and 40 seconds they come out sizzling from the inside so be wary of the scalding juice. I'll be buying these on a weekly basis as I'm all for ease and quick lunches.
Meaty and flavorful. If could give it more than five stars sure would. Boil in water or beer first (to get out excess fat) for about 10 minutes then fry or grill. Simple quick tasty meal on a bun. We do onions, ketchup, mustard and sometimes sauerkraut. Even thru all those fixin's you can still appreciate the flavor of the brat. Great product.
Johnsonville is one of our favorite brands we buy often. The bratwurst are absolutely delicious. Our favorite way is to cook them with onions, green peppers and a beer and just let them simmer. They come out delicious served on a nice soft bun with some ketchup, mustard in fact, that’s what’s for dinner tonight! They’re also great on the grill
Arrived as/when I expected, intact, and free from damage. I try to eat as little pork as possible, but occasionally my husband will prepare these with scrambled eggs for breakfast. I love them. It took me a while to appreciate the spicy flavor, but I have grown to really like it. And it revs up the metabolism for the day.
These cook up great on the grill, just cook on slow so they don't split or spurt their volcano, hot flaming juice on you. They are also great in the air fryer. I like to cook them and then cut them into coins and then add them to fettuccine Alfredo that I've made. It's also nice to remove the sausage from the skins and sauté for homemade pizza.
Coming from an Italian family, I’m very well versed with the Italian cuisine. This sausage is good but doesn’t carry the traditional flavor of Italy as I know it. I’ve tried other so called Italian meats in this area of the country this brand is close to the original flavor of Italy but it lack tradition. But over all, I recommend it.
My neighbor likes the cheddar brats. I like the beer brats. We agree that these brats are a good value because they taste good and provide some protein at a low price. I usually get two meals out of one package for two adults. If I have any leftovers, I can cut them up and make a pot of soup. This is a repeat order item for me.
I was very surprised that this meat had zero flavor. The texture is fine. I added a lot of Italian seasoning to my 2nd attempt. It didn't help. Very disappointed. Waste of money.
