I can't believe the price hikes on the food now, it's ridiculous! Just last year these were $1.99, then went to $2.99 %26 each time (just costs more) Pretty soon, people are going to stop buying meat.... These taste good and you can basically cook them,all types of ways and they always taste yummy

Chop up half an onion ,cabbage, and a can of stewed tomatoes,spoon of bacon grease, and add sausage. Season to taste.Make some mashed potatoes and green beans , which makes a pretty tastey meal.Really, lean, good flavor, the sausage puts in the meal.

Better texture and clear ingredients, just a bit salty. I compared this to the Great Value brand at Walmart, and Johnsonville is definitely worth the extra dollar. Their ingredients list is much more transparent than the store brand's vague labeling, and you can taste the quality difference. It has a rich beef flavor and a great, firm texture. My only critique is that it leans a bit salty, so keep that in mind when seasoning the rest of your dish. Overall, it's a solid upgrade for stews or skillets.

it's very affordable, it a versatile meat you can cook it with almost anything the smokyness is on point I will buy this once a month. you can have this for breakfast with eggs and grits and toast you can easily make a great chili with it you can make it with stewed potatoes and onions and bell peppers I really enjoy cooking with it

This sausage goes great in spaghetti lasagna even a crab boil they like it most on a grill and a hotdog bun sliced down the middle with peppers and onions. This sausage is so flavorful and the quality of the meat that is used for it is very good I would recommend this sausage time and time again.

We've bought this sausage many times, and it's become a staple in our house. The flavor is great, the texture is consistent, and it's one of those quick meals we can count on when life gets busy. I used this sausage in my spaghetti with meatballs. I boiled it a few minutes a couple times to get rid of the salt, rinse it off, slice it up and let it sauté with my herbs and spices with my meatballs then cook down in my spaghetti sauce. Yep, that's how I do my thing. I'm Jamaican so yeah, I'm extra.

As with almost all Johnsonville products- great taste. Albeit pretty greasy. Nice product to toss in the air fryer to render some of the fat. Use it for an egg, cheese breakfast sandwich on a bagel. Also top quality as it refrigerates well over time- so don't have to feel rushed in using it all at once.

I really like Johnsonville smoked beef rope sausage. I usually buy the great value brand because it is just as good but not as expensive, however they were sold out. I needed to buy an alternate brand and went with Johnsonville because of their reputation for having very good quality meats. This product did not disappoint.

It was a very mild flavor and added nothing to my pasta salad but texture. To eat on its own, it is alright, just not much flavor. I probably won't buy it again, because I seldom eat any meat of ny any kind and this was a let-down for the one time I took a bite of meat.
