Stored in high heat for too long!
I ordered two of these 5lb packages. Both were quite obviously exposed to prolonged, excessive heat as all of the individual pieces were partially melted. Many were stuck together and most were extremely difficult to unwrap. Most pieces were also deformed to the point that it was all but impossible to completely remove all of the plastic wrapper. The vendor most likely kept these in a warehouse that wasn't air-conditioned, for quite a while. Perhaps Walmart should bring this to the attention of this particular seller/vendor.
