love the figure, arrived with a slightly bent corner on the figure box ..im happy overall. mcfarlane figs are extremely detailed and highly collectable.
So glow to be able to purchase the chase version directly and no more hunting. Also free shipping directly from McFarlane via Walmart, vs having to pay extra shipping if buying direct.
Big fan of DC Comics, still collecting even at the young age of 61. Couldn't pass up the opportunity of getting this McFarlane Toys Jonah Hex Platinum Edition action figure to add to my ever growing collection. I'm a collector, it's what I do. I also had gotten the regular version.
A wonderful exclusive that was easy to find and even easier on the eyes. He looks great, even has thigh articulation so he can straddle the horse and hold his weapons at the same time. If youre a dc collector you have no reason to NOT get this. A great buy!
It is a nice set. First, you are getting two figures, and both are finely sculpted. Jonah Hex processes the usual mcfarlene's articulation, so the possibility is not an issue. But the star of the set is the horse, the General. The General, too, has an excellent range of articulation. Though I need to be honest, there might be some areas where the mobility execution is a bit poor, such as in the front legs, where the limbs join the torso; in this instance, aesthetics cede to mobility, and if you have a knack for getting irritated when seeing a small area of plastic when they ought not to be, then the General might not be suitable for you. But this is a very minor issue, for it is only there if you try to notice it, and if you find it, it takes very little away from the set. Now, here is the punchline: When these two figures are combined and properly posed, they shine, and the true value of the set is revealed. It is a beautiful set! Overall, it is a set worth investing in, not only for its playability value and possibility but also for this set's aesthetics. It is also a collector item(gold Label), meaning there won't be many of these floating around much longer. If the price tag is an issue, it is worth considering the figure's aesthetic value and the potential impact it could have on your life; as said, it is a beautiful set.
McFarlane's Jonah Hex %26 The General is a really nice addition to the ever expanding DC multiverse collection. The inclusion of the cowboy related accessories are refreshing, as are the thigh cuts that allow better fitment when the figure is saddled up. All in all, it's a great piece that has nice shelf presence.
One of my favorite McFarlane figures of the year. Jonah is a completely new sculpt with a soft goods jacket and two different belts - one for his two revolvers and one for his sword - which can be removed and exchanged. The General (his horse) works well - a recolor of the old Witcher horse but does the job well. This is a gold exclusive re-color with an arguably superior color scheme to the regular version. Recommended!
Jonah Hex is one of my top favorite Dc characters and this figure delivers excellently! Heavily recommended for any Jonah Hex fan!
this is a great toy a very great sculpt of Jonah Hex. the horse is beautiful and the packaging with the graphics on the back of the package or breathtakingly beautiful
The level of detail including paint application, articulation, and sculptures is incredible. Fans of Jonah Hex and the DC Multiverse will be impressed with this figure.
