I've been afraid to give my toddler a bath in the tub for some time because of it. This whale is super cute and makes his bath time fun and safe!! It's got little suction cups at the bottom so it stays in place. After use, I always hang out on the side of the bathtub to dry, to avoid the risk of mildew. I don't know if this one is prone, but my prior ones were and I don't want to take that risk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dolphin shower mat is so cute! It's as wide as my tub so there's a lot of nonslip grip width wise. It suctions to the tub easily and doesn't slip. It is in a cute shape resembling a dolphin which the kids really seem to like. I do wish it was a little longer to cover more of the bottom of my tub. It's perfect for little kids bathing, but doesn't give enough security to me as an adult. I don't own 2 mats, one for me, one for my kids. With a mat like this I wish they thought of that. Otherwise, it really is nice!

This whale mat always slides/slips from under my kids, it is cute though. I had to buy another one.
