Jose Ole Birria Beef Taquitos, Frozen Mexican Snacks

Reading the others reviews really made me think twice about ordering this particular taquito. I have always found that movies and books with bad reviews have quiet surprisingly been among those I most enjoyed...These Jose Ole Birria Beef Taquitos have proven that point! NEVER listen to others as all taste varies...It makes the world go round. I always prepare taquitos in the oven (going a few minutes longer than suggested) and served Velveeta Queso Blanco along with them...A crunchy hit! Warning...They don't last long.

Strong taste. Clove is overwhelming BUT some toppings (on the second try) do make them much better!! I'm glad I tried again before throwing out, fr, because that's where they were headed. Good enough otherwise for frozen taquitos. They'd make a nice, easy autumn treat.

Too much clove seasoned the meat. You can hardly tell though because there is more tortilla than meat. The center is hallow. At first I thought this was an isolated things but the second and third taquitos were also hallow in the center. So no need to follow the air fryer instructions, cause that makes them hard and chewy.

Personally not a fan of the taste on these. I've never had cinnamon on birria, and I think there's a good reason for that. These just taste super off and made me think there was something wrong with either the food or my air fryer. They were still nice as a quick snack for the air fryer, but I would probably buy a different variety in the future.

Weird spice in them. My husband described as a Christmasy taste and he is absolutely right. I think it might be cinnamon but it's so strong that's all you can taste. I even looked it up on Google and people are saying the same thing. It's a shame because I have never had a bad product from this company.

I bought these on a whim but wish I'd read the reviews first. They are really, really awful!! I'm not in the habit of throwing food in the garbage unless it's rotten, but that's exactly where the rest of the box is going. Very spicy hot, with a very weird, pungent taste. Others have said it's too much cinnamon, but I like cinnamon. Could be cloves because a very little of that goes a long way and this taste is overpowering. Even sour cream didn't help at all. The only good thing about them is that they were kind of crunchy after being baked in a toaster oven.

sooo gross. My while family thought these were gross. I tried three cause I thought I was tripping, but my wife and kids tried one and said the same thing. guys I grew up dirt poor and have been homeless twice and I eat everything and anything, but these are so freaking disgusting. Threw 14 of them away.

I love birria. I was so excited to see these! My excitement ended when I took a bite of this atrocity. It's just this overwhelming heavy allspice and clove flavor that no amount of sour cream or salsa could help with. Hopefully one day the company figures this out because it's a great concept.

2 main issues. 1. They taste like liquid smoke %26 limes had a stale baby. 2. They aren't in a bag inside the box. Most other taquito brands are wrapped in a plastic bag. These are life in the cardboard box sliding that lovely freezer burn rate to mix in with the other abhorent flavor.

As a frozen food connoisseur, I've had my share of getting Frozen taquitos here and there. I also make them from scratch. This was a new product I wanted to taste and boy do I regret buying these for $7 because it pretty much tasted like cinnamon. If you want cinnamon beef these are for you. Not even sour cream can help them. These shouldn't have been made. Thank you
