I bought these to make low calorie wraps and flat breads in the oven and I love them. I will consistently have these in my home. They crisp up beautifully when I have a bbq chicken flatbread in the oven and after I heat them up a little they roll easily for wraps!
This lavash bread is very tasty, has a light texture, and rolls up well without breaking. It can get soggy rather quickly, so keep that it mind and place wetter items like tomatoes where they will shielded from the wrap by other ingredients in the wrap when rolled. I keep mine in the fridge as they can spoil quickly if left out at room temperature. Definitely recommend.
Joseph's Low Net Carb Flax Lavash Bread is a hidden gem for anyone watching their carbs but craving bread-like satisfaction. Each sheet is soft, sturdy, and loaded with good-for-you ingredients like flax, oat bran, and whole wheat. It's shelf-stable and perfect for wraps, pizzas, quesadillas—or even toasted for chips.
A solid choice if you’re looking for a lighter alternative to traditional bread or wraps. The texture is soft but slightly chewy due to the flax, and it holds together well when used for sandwiches, wraps, or even as a quick flatbread pizza base. The flavor is mild with a subtle nutty taste, which works well because it doesn’t overpower fillings. It toasts nicely in a pan or oven, giving it a slightly crisp edge while still staying flexible enough to fold. Overall, it’s a convenient option for anyone trying to reduce carbs without giving up bread-like foods. It’s especially useful for quick lunches or meal prep, though it does taste a bit different from traditional lavash, so it may take a little getting used to.
I truly enjoy this product. I use this product to cut back on my intake of carbs. Plus I suffer from stomach issues and eating wraps helps my stomach feel so much lighter. Bread makes me feel heavy and it takes a while to process, but not with a wrap. I recommend lightly toasting them and then make your wrap. This adds a toasty flavor. Enjoy!!
I absolutely love this wrap, great taste, texture, and works out with all my veggies for a great healthy wrap. BUT the last time i ordered it, i bit into something. There was a piece of wood that was in my wrap?! I guess it somehow got into the mixture and was baked in. it was a long kind of thick thorn like piece of hard wood. Are yall using sawdust in your recipes??? 🧐🤨😠...
I wanted to like this low net carb lavash bread, but it was not a good match for my preferences. The texture is very different from traditional lavash and has a noticeable chalky quality instead of the soft, flexible chew I expect from this type of bread. The flavor is also extremely bland, which makes it difficult to enjoy on its own. It may work better as a base for strongly flavored fillings where other ingredients can add moisture and flavor. I could see it being used for things like avocado wraps, burgers, or recipes where you add plenty of seasoning and texture. Toasting it may also help add some crunch. Overall, I appreciate having a low carb option available, but the texture and lack of flavor made this one disappointing for me.
I have had to toss the last two packages of Joseph's Lavash bread. This has been a staple of my diet for several years. I enjoy easy wraps I can make with it. But the last two packages I bought, they were all sticking together. I couldn't even get a large piece of it without it sticking to the flatbread next to it. It was just crumbly. I thought it was a fluke the first time, but when I opened a new package of it and it was even worse, I knew something had gone wrong with quality control. I won't be buying this product again.
It's a good option if you don't want to use regular bread. This was a Walmart pick-up order. This was past expiration . The expiration date on it was May 6th, today is May 12. This should not have been placed in my order. It should've been taken off the shelves a week ago.
i wanted to continue loving these, howver, NO. i purchased these with plans to prepare dinnervusing the lavash. highly disappointed. they were all stuck together. i could not pull one out of the pkg. instead, I had to pull them all out and try to pull one off the stack. it ripped, shredded. a waste of money. i was very disappointed. i do not have the time or patience to wait in line to return a $5 item- that is why I use online ordering and delivery. i get more disappointed with Walmart with every purchase. do not recommend.
