Would have been more of what I expected from Walmart if the packages bought from Walmart had not expired in 3 days after delivered ! learned to be more aware of expiration Dates seems to me the expiring Items are sent to the Home delivers !!!

Soft, Convenient, and Reliable Everyday Pita Bread

Afsoon June 10, 2026

Joseph's Original White Pita Bread is a solid pantry staple. The texture is soft and flexible, making it great for sandwiches, wraps, or quick pizzas without falling apart. I like that it's shelf-stable, which makes it convenient to keep on hand without worrying about it going bad quickly. The flavor is mild, so it works well with both savory and lightly sweet, crunchy fillings, but it's not the most flavorful pita on its own. Overall, it's a reliable, convenient option for everyday use, especially if you want something quick and versatile for avocado dip, as slices.

this pita was difficult to stuff. The bread kept splitting and falling apart. Also the next day 3 of the pitas were moldy and i had to throw them away. Not impressed.

I never leave feedbacks on things I buy at Walmart. This is terrible!!! If you stare at it more than a few seconds they start to rip!! Like eating a damp sponge. The package shows these stuffed with a salad. They come ripped and stuck together. CANNOT make a sandwich. I used to be able to put peanut butter inside, now just trying to do this and they tear. These used to be a better quality in the past when company was smaller. They are only good to make pizzas with. Cut them in half toast them then make a pizza. They taste so bad right out of the package. The first ingredient listed is water. They are so limp, they can be better for a few more cents.

Goes moldy way too fast

anonymous May 3, 2026

It has been so hard to find pita POCKETS but I finally found some and 3 different purchases now have all ended in the pita going moldy in a couple days from purchase! "Shelf stable"? I think not.

Disappointed

MamaKatie May 6, 2026

These pita tasted fine and seemed fresh but they completely fell apart and/or split with anything on or inside them. A few of them were broken before I ever cut them in half to fill them.

Blue melted plastic discovered on pita bread

Jace November 24, 2025

Discovered my pita bread had a melted piece of bright blue plastic on the underside of the bread. It's such an abnormal color, I can't even imagine what part of the machine that processes the bread melted on the pita?? But also, how did this slip through quality control?

Do not waste your money on these. they are terrible. first time I bought them, they were very dry and grainy...reminded me of the terrible pita sandwhiches my hippy mom fed me. This past week I bought them again from walmart because there were no other options (hoping they would be better). I bought them yesterday. I went to cook gyros for supper today (1 day later) and they are molded so I threw them away.

The expiry date of the prod was the next day

anonymous May 10, 2026

It's not the product, but Walmart. They delivered with an expiry day of the next day. They may be within their rights, but if I were to purchase in-store, I would have ensured that the product did not expire a couple of days. The convenience of home delivery has its downsides. Not happy with the way it's done.
