Fits true to size. Can still wear thick socks with them. Love this boot have had many pairs over the years. It's hard to find but totally worth it. This one is a wide calf.. it is a WIDE calf! I didn't need it but wanted the boots so I adjusted the top buckle to compensate. Still looks great. Really love these boots color was perfect. Get so many compliments on them. Wish they'd make an over the knee one.
fit good comfortable walking good price. never had high boots before my calfs were to wide these fit great ya
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the tan boots. They fit my calves very well. The measurements were slightly bigger than my calves. I was worried they would Look too large on my legs, but they fit perfectly even with jeans. I'm a size 8, but went with the 8.5 and that was perfect. I don't love the red zipper In The back, but otherwise these were what I was looking for. I needed an 18 or 18.5 in for the calf, and these fit the bill. Im 5'6 size 22 for reference .
Love these boots! I've worn one pair out %26 had to buy another pair!
Exactly as described and what I was looking for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots is all I wear. So comfortable and they keep my feet and legs warm especially when riding my motorcycle in the cold. I love them.
I am not sure why, but Walmart seems to mix up reviews for items quite a lot. Most of the reviews for this item are for sneakers, not boots, so I did not base my purchase on the review ratings. I am happy with the boots I received. They are slightly darker than the brightly lit photo. I ordered the "Chestnut". My shoe sizes are as follows, depending on the shoes: 9M or 8.5W. I ordered these in the 9M. They seem to be made to wear with heavy socks. The 9M is a little loose on me in the footbed, but not so much as to make me slide around or be uncomfortable. I don't wear heavy socks, but I will be able to insert a separate insole if I choose to do so and take up the room if needed. I do need to stress here, that if you suffer from swollen feet and legs, your normal size should fit. If you DO NOT suffer from edema, then you may want to consider going down half a size, wear heavy socks, or insert some type of separate insole. Next, I didn't have to open the buckle at the top to get in the boots. I DID wind up adjusting it to it's smallest setting though, and I can still put them on with the buckle closed, no problem. I purchased the "Wide Calf". My calves are 16 inches, and I had plenty of room. In fact, I probably could've gotten the regular calf if I wanted a tighter fit, but I like the slouchy look for boots, so it's fine for me. I am 5'3" tall, have a 26" inseam in pants, and the boots come right up to the bend of my knee in the back, and slightly higher in the front. I love the contrast of the red zipper with the chestnut color. And the rivets are a nice touch too. Overall, for the price, I am happy with my purchase. Time will tell if they hold up or fall apart. This is my first pair of shoes from the Journey Collection, so I am not familiar with the quality of their products. But, it isn't as if I'll be wearing them everyday, so I'll keep my fingers crossed that I get a few years out of them.
Love these flat heel wide calf boots. They're very comfortable for everyday wear.
i love the way they look and the quality but the calves were so wide (and I dont have small calves) that you could stick your whole arm in them adter they were zipped. I returned them because they just felt weird being so large...
I ordered the over the knee thigh high ones and they sent me the below the knee-high ones I don't know 5 inches makes a difference in coverage and height and if it's below the knee, it's below the knee not above the knee and now apparently there's no more left of the ones I get up, can't make it up.
