Love this little player! The speakers are great for my needs. I thought I would end up connecting to Bluetooth speakers right away, but naw. No need. It is great to have something I can just fold up and put away as I have a small house and did not want to have a proper stereo set-up. Only negatives: I taped a penny to the top of the needle right away as it was skipping. Now, my records are old so that might have contributed to that issue, but the penny on the needle trick worked brilliantly. The BIGGEST problem I had might have been due to my old records again: A few of my 33 1/3 RPM albums were dragging as they hit the back cover in spots. My records have warped a bit over time, though, so newer records should fit fine.. But, there is a fix for this!! I purchased a turntable mat and that raised it up enough to keep the record from bouncing off the cover. (The mat was huge so I cut it down a little.) All is well! So happy to play my old records again and the price was great.
i was tripping because said it was picked up 10mins before being handed to me.... Would be koo if they scanned or id me when they gave it to me too but i did bring up a big stink so maybe they jus wanted to rush it after me being upset and worried about it... jus kids and lack of protocol but good service
So disappointed! Daughter was super excited to get this. Played fine the first time but kept slowing down and never stayed up to speed. Played one side of album but not the other. Tried changing the speeds, etc but nothing worked. Sending back for refund.
At first, it worked just fine. I played a record of Grease and it sounded pretty good. But when I played a brand new vinyl of Igor the record kept skipping entire sections of songs after a bass drop. I returned it less than a week after getting it and will probably look to get a nice turntable in the future.
Won't play 33s. The larger records overlap and touch the frame of the player causing the sound to warp because the vinyl can't turn correctly. Major design flaw. If you're only planning to play 45s or 78s, this player will probably work fine. Very disappointing.
This is probably a one-off but when i olaced the album on the deck to play it sat snug on the back lip of the lid so the album would not play correctly.
Not suitable to play 33s- the record hits the back of the case and the sound is garbled. It plays 45s just fine. Unfortunately, I only have one 45 and a bunch of 33s, so this is going back.
record player wasn't right from the start. will not play any record without the music jumping. tried everything. we already have the same one in a different room and purchased the identical player for a separate area and this one just has something wrong with this one.
Do not buy this. Invest the money in the technology if you want reliable sound that doesn’t skip or damage your records. It looks cute, and portable which is why I got it, but it’s garbage.
After purchasing this turntable, I haven't found any good records for it for a while and so I left it alone in it's box up until I found a record a year later. I only used the bluetooth function of the turntable for a total of 5 times and each time for not even 5 minutes. Upon purchasing the record (that I can't even play now) I went to turn on my turntable and it just started to smoke and it made the inside of my apartment stink.
