It worked perfectly for what we needed. Took it to Colorado for the weekend and withstood the elements of wind and cold temps. Installation was very straightforward and easy. And when we;'re not using it as a rooftop cargo carrier, we are using it as a storage bag in our garage.

I recently got this rooftop car carrier for a road trip. I need a practical solution for extra storage that is flexible. It’s easy to store in a trunk or garage when not in use without taking up much space. Installation was simple and can be done solo! Attach with straps that run through the car doors or hook onto roof rails. It took me about 10–15 minutes to secure everything properly. Highly recommend.

The zipper system on this is awesome! The cartoon image in the listing does not do it justice. The material lays down fully butted up against itself over the zipper mechanism. Lines up perfectly as you zip it up. This model also has the flap that hangs over the zipper AND velcro strips to secure ‘that’. So 3 ways really, to protect your belongings from water and for me…’insects’ which this Summer will be mad with bugs because the Winter was too weak to kill enough eggs off again. Camping stuff, tools, even groceries and charcoal will be safe and dry in this. Great for work supplies for my son too. In a pinch you can tie this down in the truck bed as well with the buckles or straps it comes with. Has a carry/storage bag, just fold it up. Heavy duty material, beautifully assembled, with attention to the small details. If traveling we can just grab this off the roof or out of the bed and bring the whole thing into the hotel etc. (Depending on the weight of the contents it would take 2 people to carry it of course because it is so large, which is great!) One or two suitcases will fit in this depending on their size, which is much better than being exposed in the truck bed for sure. Excellent product, thoughtfully crafted. Any outdoors or traveling person should be pleased with this one.

The item came packaged very well. It is compactable and has a pull-string carrying bag. Inside is the luggage tote, the straps and instructions. Very easy set up and it’s really sturdy vinyl. It’s not a hard shell so only certain items would be good for it but it does offer a decent amount of space.

I was thrilled to try out the storage bag. It made it on our 10 hour drive. On the way home I thought all was well until I pulled into the driveway and the entire bag was gone. So either it’s very easy to steal or it fell off. Either way, lost thousands of dollars in belongings and I’m very sad. Would recommend one that locks if you value your stuff

Pros: the 4 straps included can hook onto my GLC300 SUV without the need to use a aftermarket roof rack. The material felt appears to be durable and is indeed waterproof. Comes with a Storage Bag Cons: Might had been bigger than what I like to store in the car l, but this is usually a rare occasional use item so it usually doesnt need to stay in the car

This heavy duty storage carrier has worked great for giving us more space inside the vehicle for road trips. It has every feature we needed, a way to lock it for security during rest stops, the ease of installation makes it quick and easy to put on top of our SUV, and its water resistant so that our stuff stays dry when driving in the rain. The extra leg room for trips is priceless!

This cargo bag is great!! It fit on top of our jeep suv and clipped under the inside of roof rails and stayed put for 9 hour trip on interstates and didnt budge an inch. the heat made the velcro let go on flap that covers where the zippers meet but over all perefct. I was able to get my huge closet of clothes in w room to spare for a bed spread. i was amazed how much it held.

Unfortunately this will not work with our 2020 Santa Fe. We do have rails. But we will have to purchase cross bars in order to use it. We did lay it up on the roof but I couldn’t get a good picture. The way they say you can do it without rails won’t work with our SUV. It smells like a kids blow up pool or floaty. It comes in a drawstring bag. It was hard to open the flap, velcro, and zipper to see inside. But hopefully that’ll mean it won’t come open while driving. I’m not too confident in the straps though, or the part where it connects. I think we’ll need to reinforce how it’s tied down. We haven’t put anything in it yet but it should hold the beach stuff we’re needing it for. We were able to get it folded back like it came and into the storage bag.
