They are sharp, sturdy, and deliver an incredibly smooth cut. The quality is immediately apparent. They cut through absolutely anything—from fresh herbs to tough packaging—very effortlessly. The handles are flexible, comfortable, and feel very easy in the hand for any task. These are an essential kitchen tool I highly recommend. I was offered an incentive to write this review. The item deserves 10 stars. Best medium sized scissors I've ever owned. Reminds me of the Ikebana style Japanese scissors but these actually work with you and don't tire your efforts. I love them. Love these scissors because they fit most hands easily, are sharp, and take the place of knives in many cases. It would be better if they came apart for cleaning but they are probably stronger since they do not.

Love these scissors for kitchen work! We keep a pair for garden use, as well. They last forever unless someone tries to use them to pry something open.

I have had a pair of these scissors for almost 50 years. They are as sharp as when they were new and are absolutely wonderful in the kitchen. This year I bought a pair for my 20 year old granddaughter's kitchen and expect she will use them and appreciate them as long as I have.

I like these scissors so well that I had to get another pair. They are very handy for the kitchen, sturdy for all sorts of jobs like cutting fresh herbs or opening cartons of tomatoes, they wash up well, and store nicely in my kitchen drawer without taking up too much space. I like them so much that I hide them from my husband so he won't steal them.

These scissors are great, they do what I wanted to do, cut meat. The only drawback and I knew it when I decided to buy it is that the blades do not break apart for thorough cleaning.
