One long string of lights not two
I assumed this would come as 2 different strings of six candy canes but mine came as just one long string of lights with 12 canes. Therefore I couldn't split them up to have on each side so would have to buy another set.

It is advertised as 2 sets of 6 lights however it comes as 1 strand of 12. It is smaller than anticipated and 2 sets are needed to line walkways due to all 12 candy canes connected on 1 strand.

Two of the sets did not work right out of the box which forced me to send them back as a set of 12.
