I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas. She loved it so much and so did her dad. As they played together with the marbles that i've just recently bought a second one 2 take to them in south africa. i assumed it would break in 10 minutes, but it just kept going and going. I just decided since she loved it. Of all of her toys, and there was plenty of them. You could tell, this is the one she came back to and still wants and still talks about. So I'm gonna bring her new one as well as the old one. If I can fit em all in a suitcase, and I know she will be thrilled.There's just something about the the noise that the marbles make everything pretty well worked much better in what you'd think for a toy of this price and plastic Held together, basically, it has a elevator for your marbles.And it just goes and goes, she used it for hours during her couple weeks here. as long as you have a parent to help, I think a three year old can manage this.And then it goes all the way up to probably eight years old, to give them hours of their attention.

Putting together took about 39 minutes. My 6 year old nephew LOVES it! It does make a lot of noise when you put 30 marbles down it at once ~ everyone will want to put them down at once just to see if it ca do it. It can. The elevator is worth the extra few dollars I had to pay for this set.

The recommended age is 4-8. I would recommend 6 as the lower age and a child who can concentrate on building as it was difficult for my almost 6 yr old busy grandson, but my 7 yr old granddaughter and I were able to build this together. It has good step-by-step instructions, but takes some supervision.

Grandkid loves it. It comes apart pretty easily. I'd strongly remember to keep the box so you can look at the picture to reference to get it back together.

Bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter and she loves it. Marbles are everywhere but her joy is what matters. If she would let them just go through the elevator we would be fine but no she has to pull them off and put them other places.

Bought this for my 4 yr old grandson. It is the first and last thing he plays with every day since. Huge Win! It's pretty sturdy for a slide together toy. The instructions were pictures only, but very easy to follow. It can fascinate a 4 yr old got an hour at a time, which is huge, littles attention spans don't usually last that long. Great early STEM toy!

We purchased this for our 2 and 3 year old toddlers and I kid you not, they played with it for almost 4 hours straight the first time they played with it. We've had it for a couple of months now and they still play with it almost every day. Comes with instructions and is easy to put together - there are extra chain links so be sure to count! Once built, the toy is sturdy and doesn't fall over or apart easily. Comes with marbles but be warned! They are smaller than regular ones so normal marbles will block the holes and will not work with this toy. Super worth it and would 10/10 purchase again.

Assembly is somewhat difficult from pictures. Was a gift for a 4 year old but was a big hit with adults and kids alike. Once it was assembled everyone started creating new pathways. Good quality for plastic parts, but hard to move once assembled.

The marbles do not glow in the dark at all. This was very disappointing to my little kiddos who are all about glow in the dark stuff right now. Also, the instructions are confusing and we have had to pull it apart and switch things around to try to figure out where everything goes. It took 2 hours to put it together and then we had to pull it apart and readjust. The instructions also failed to mention that there were extra pieces provided for the elevator so it took a while to figure out that we had to pull some off ourselves. If the marbles glowed in the dark I would have given this 4-5 stars as that is the most frustrating thing about this marble run. The second most frustrating thing is the confusing instructions.

it says for 3 years and older, the thing is I would definitely not recommend to kids 3 or 4 . it was hard trying to figure out instructions with the one color piece pointing to the rest of the grey pieces . my 3 year old loves watching marbles but this one is to easy to take apart. it's great if you want something more like building blocks but it you want a marble run for a 3 or 4 year old I would just of got a wood one that don't come apart. wish instructions would have been a little easier
