Star
The star requires 3 AA batteries and has 2 settings, steady and flashing. I leave it on steady and it has a warm white glow. I used about 4 branches at the top of my artificial tree, weaving them through the spiral holder, to hold the star up. This is a great tree topper for the price :)

But I wish it connected to plug in Christmas tree lights instead of batteries. A pain to have to cut it on/off every night when my other lights are on a timer!

I was surprised that I didn't need an extension cord for the star topper. It takes batteries. I think it's very angelic.
