I have a chalk board wall, that I use for reminders. I was originally using sidewalk chalk for the colors but eventually they were just too big to keep writing with and my hands afterwards just felt gross. And I also tried chalk markers but they were just too small. When I saw these I got so excited. My hands stay clean and they're so smooth to write with. It almost feels like I'm writing with lipstick. I don't know if they'd be that great on a side walk. But for indoor boards or kids easels they're amazing. Glad I bout the 3 pk

I like that it is in a casing and the people will not get it on their hands or over the surface.

This "chalk" is more like oil based crayons. That would be fine except the holders are absolute garbage. They are multiple pieces and my toddler had them all separated in minutes. The plastic also breaks easily.

These will not come off of the chalk board paint on my mom's planters!!! I've used other chalk that washed off as normal but these ruined my mom's planters. I hope she likes what the kids drew bcuz it's permanent!!

If you really want Chalk, this isn't what you're looking for. Closer to a crayon. Not at all easy to remove from a chalk board. Bought for my granddaughter for use on her easel. Couldn't completely erase - having the covers doesn't prevent the chalk from breaking either. I going to request a refund

The description said sidewalk/blackboard chalk This is definitely just SIDEWA:LK chalk. Will not trust this company for description/purchases again
