Use victor rat traps work better

I recommend this product
I purchased these because they are larger then regular mouse traps, hints the name rat trap. These traps should solve my problem of rats tearing apart the insulation in my wall. Just be careful setting the trap. #Sweepstakes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Very strong spring
The spring being too strong sounds good but it took being sprung 3 times for one and 5 times for another and they fell apart. On the plus side I did kill 2 rats and a bird with them.

The rat would've gotten away...
The trap was the perfect size for the rat that was living under my kitchen sink; however, it was defective and the pin was too short which would not allow the trap to set. Will get a refund rather than replacing because I was able to catch the rat with a small rat traps. FYI the mouse trap was a lot easier to work with.

Junk. Bought two they both broke. Hard to set properly spring is to strong broke the plastic bait holder.
