I recently tried the J.T.M. Beef Philly Cheesesteaks, and they did not disappoint! The beef is tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, with just the right balance of savory and juicy in every bite. What I really appreciate is the convenience — they're quick to prepare yet taste like something you'd get fresh from a sandwich shop. Paired with some sautéed peppers, onions, and melted cheese, it makes for an authentic Philly-style experience without ever leaving home. The portion size is generous, and the quality is consistently high. These are a definite win for busy weeknights, game days, or anytime you're craving a hearty, delicious meal. I'll definitely be keeping these stocked in my freezer — they've become a family favorite!
I'm originally from back east coming to California in the 80's. One of my favorite foods from "home" were hoagies. So imagine my surprise when I found this hoagie kit to make my own! It's not home, but it's close. If you like hoagies or never tried one I recommend this kit.
Quick easy dinner or lunch. Every thing you need to serve 4 sandwiches. Bread, meat, onions, cheese. It was simple and easy to prepare following directions of package. I added a slice of provolone cheese because we like it cheesier. My family found them yummy😋
I used to buy everything separate to make homemade, but this is a game changer! The kit has everything you need to build a delicious cheese steak. Only thing I like to add is mushrooms. The bread is amazing and authentic tasting as well. Happy to have stumbled across this kit when steak ums were out of stock. You can't buy a single sandwich of any kind for $4 bucks today so this is a deal.
Not bad for a Philly all in one. The bread gets soft in the oven, and the meat is really good. My daughter ate it by its self so I would call it a win. It also comes with everything you might need. Onions, cheese, I added peppers, it comes with bread, and the meat of course. 9/10
Overall it was good. I didn't care for the rolls. They should be more like the consistency of a real sub roll. It was too doughy. It is better if you add some bell peppers to it for flavor. Without the peppers it is too bland, in my opinion. Good in a pinch. Also, it doesn't pay to cook only one as the rolls needti be baked. i was making it for one person and instead i had to make all 4 i wrapped then in parchment paper and froze the others.
I didn't realize I ordered a sandwich kit, but it was a nice surprise. Contained onions, buns, meat and cheese. There were a ton of onions, which was fine, but a little too much, actually. The cheese was more than sufficient as well. I thought I was just ordering the steaks, but apparently that's not an option with this brand. I would reorder these. They tasted really good. I was pleasantly surprised that the bread was tasty once baked.
This is a great meal kit if you don't want to buy all the separate things for philly cheese steaks.... but know that you won't be getting a great tasting sandwich. Add your own seasonings and toppings to add some flavor, because it tastes rather bland.
Not the best Philly kit I've tried but it served it's purpose. These are easy to make but the meat was chewy and tuff (no I didn't over cook it) and the bread had a strange texture. I have used these kits from a different brand for years that was great but these are different. I wouldn't buy again
Product is waaay too pricy for the meat of it....basically paying $8 for bread %26 onions... that should be free... REASONABLE COST SHOULD BE 1/2 @$7-8 ONLY. Meat was turned %26 have me a stomach ache even though I keep it frozen until eating it. DON'T BUY
