Great Workhorse of a Machine
This machine works like a dream. I used my Singer for quite a few quilting projects and it just stopped working if the batting was more than one layer thick. I did a lot of research and finally purchased the Juki. I was nervous because I've never spent so much money on a sewing machine before. It arrived quickly (within 3 days) and was easy to set up. It's a heavy machine and a simple design. It took me a little bit to figure out how to do the bobbin, the thread kept breaking. I swallowed my pride and looked it up online and got everything sorted. I had to use the book to thread the machine, but the instructions were clear and simple. I love the option to cut the thread on the foot pedal, although I had to train myself to not rest my toes on the end of the pedal like I do on other machines lol. Overall, no regrets!

Great heavy-duty sewing machine
Great heavy-duty sewing machine with long arm. We have several sewers but this one is the best for thick tough sews. Great quality and here we got best price. Highly recommended!

Love the quality of the machine. i especially like the thread cuttung with the foot petal. i'm having a hard time with the bobbin inserting into the machine

Malfunction in Foot Pedal
I was really excited to receive my new machine as I've read many great reviews. However, the foot pedal seems like it has a malfunction. I'm hoping it is something simple and maybe I can get it resolved by getting a new pedal if possible. I put in a call to Juki directly and they are supposed to call me back. In the meantime I was wondering if I should register the machine under the warranty or try to return it back to Walmart for a new one. But I will say, that it worked wonderful for a few minutes. The speed was fantastic! But it would stop suddenly or just go really slow. I realize there's a cutter at the very back of the pedal, but I was only pressing towards the front, and it just goes super slow, or just refuses to sew all together. Really bummed. But I'm hoping it will be resolved soon and I can write up a much better review.
