Juki TL2000QI High Speed Sewing and Quilting Machine

Got this after over a decade of sewing. Using it for thicker materials but it is a dream for piecing quilts. The measurements on the plate and the ease of stitch length and pressure foot pressure just makes everything so much easier to sew. Who knew relieving some pressure on the foot when adding binding (so multiple layers) helped with smoother sewing and less crunching up of fabric? A bit faster than a regular machine but since I'm comfortable with sewing machines, this is a plus!!

I LOVE LOVE THIS MACHINE! I love the beautiful stitch quality of this machine. I have machines that cost 10 times what this one costs and they don't sew any better than this Juki. It does not suck your fabric in when you start sewing on a narrow edge and the stitch quality is just amazing. I also love the foot pedal control to cut your threads. It can sew through thick fabrics and multiple layers of denim. You can easily use the larger cones of thread. This machine is all metal, but still only about 25 pounds. It came with the large sewing table that attaches to the machine and many accessories. Also additional Juki feet are reasonably priced unlike some brands. This is quickly going to become my favorite sewing machine. I almost forgot to mention a free sewing trolley came with it. I didn't even know I was getting the trolley. I could not be happier. Thank you!!

This machine runs smooth like butter. It's very powerful and such a workhorse while being sleek in design. Great throat space, and the knee lever has become essential.

Got it for my wife. She absolutely loves it.

I've had my eye on this Juki for quite a while and was amazed at the great price! I looked on Amazon and other sites to see if there was better prices but Walmart beat them by at least $20 and with free shipping it was perfect! Set it up as soon as I got home and it sees beautifully! I have bobbins filled and have been sewing with it already!

Great price on a machine that I had had my eye on for quite a while. This is a great machine for bigger projects. I love it!

Pros:. - I like it being a semi industrial machine. It's sturdy, well built, %26 its simplicity. Treading %26 winding the bobbin was easy to follow from Erica's You Tube tutorial. The book illustrations were too small to follow. Cons:- I feel the bobbin insert is too far in. Many you tube tutorial show a "click" after inserting the bobbin. For me, it was a hit %26 miss getting the "click". It worked fine with no click after inserting the button %26 snapping the lever in place. Should it click? Is there a "trick" for the bobbin to click? -the foot cutter cuts the thread too closed to the needle...that its just short of being out of the needle. -Its cumbersome to latch the final step of hooking the thread to the automatic cutter.

Very quirky with threading the feature, is not smooth, I was only able to succeed 3 times of probably 50 attempts. This machine truly only does straight stitch unless you use the free motion option and purchase an additional foot. However does a straight stitch really well and is a workhorse. I highly recommending using the quality thread, the discount thread will only give you a headache see the attached photo. It's easy to access most areas for maintenance. The machine is also finicky with its bobbin, requires you to hear the click to engage or gives you a rat's nest of thread. Just wasn't quite enough for my needs so it was returned.
