When you see the name “Crayola” , you know you have quality! I can remember WAAY back getting a fresh box of Crayola Crayons when I started elementary school every year- so it is a sweet moment, when I pick out crayons for my little Grandson! They are nice and a great size for little hands to use! Colors are always spot on and of course, the smell of crayons? Is there anything else that can so quickly transport you back to your school days?! Love Crayola and making new memories with my grand!
Ok, I do not know why we bother buying small crayons that break so easily (yes, sadly, even crayons does!) but these are so amazing!!! All my kids-from 3-16 years old, are loving using them bc they are so solid, waxy, bright and vibrant....and honestly, the size is kind of nice too! You can still do detailed work even with a bigger tip.
Great size for Toddlers! I think this will help boys more than girls. Girls have a better control of fine motor skills than boys from age 1 to 5. My son is not breaking crayons when he is trying to draw due to under development of fine motor control. He is only a toddler and is having a better success rate making marks, lines, & scribbles. With 19 years as a preschool teacher I really like these Jumbo Crayons. I would dare say it should be helpful to a child with fine motor issues or pincher grip problems. Nice and big jumbo crayons and for chubby little hands!
I LOVE these jumbo crayons! These are fantastic to use in my Pre K Classroom. They are easy to teach children to hold them correctly. Jumbo crayons last much longer than the large or regular size crayons and do not break very easily. I definitely recommend these for children in EC, Pre K and Kindergarten! My only complaint is that you can only order 5 boxes at a time. I have ordered them twice and still need more for my classroom as they are very difficult to find at any store. I would gladly order 20 more boxes so that all of my students would have these instead of the large size crayons that several of them have already broken in the first few weeks of school.
These are the way to go for toddlers, not too easy to break into a bunch of little pieces like the regular crayons. Or get lost in the laundry. I've washed countless crayon pieces that have been confiscated and stuffed into a pocket and forgotten about, only to remember when the dryer cycle completes. Plus I have fun coloring with them too!
Excellent for preschoolers who are not quite ready for normal size crayons. A good intermediate crayon.
Grandbaby is autistic and usually breaks a good amount of the skinnier small crayons each time we color (I do too) so these are great. Glides across paper leaving color. Not like other ones. Have lasted much longer already.
Opted for store pick up and did not have any broken crayons. Longer larger crayon means more time in use! Lasts a bit longer than large crayons in kindergarten setting.
The crayons smell really bad. A horrid rancid smell. I know Crayons, wheter they be the crayola brand or not, and i konw some have a weird smell because that is the nature of a crayon, but these crayolas smell horrible. What is worse is that the smell stays on your hands. I got these for my toddler. I am afraid if my child could get sick from breathing it in, or from putting it in his mouth. Besides the smell, they work just as their should.
When I opened the box the bottom opened and app of the crayons fell out, wouldn't stay closed. Taped it. When I went to put them in top of box I found “new box” all scribbled up. Guess Walmart recycles their returns.
