Best potato’s!!

Jesus October 27, 2025

I get these potato’s because to make a meal you only have to peel a few, also they’re easy to peel because they’re smooth. These do take a longer time to cook because of their size. The flavor isn’t too strong like other potato’s. They aren’t the cheapest but aren’t too expensive. They’re worth it

I ALWAYS buy the 8lb bag of ‘bakers’…you can Always cut up/down a Big potatoe, but, you’ll play ‘havoc’ trying to get a ‘baker’ out of a dinky spud! These potatoes are in fresh condition, %26 wonderfully large for a meal-size amount, Dependably! They’re priced a tad more, but, well worth the peace of mind when needed. Definitely Recommend!

Potatoes are the perfect choice!

Me July 13, 2025

I love these! Just rinse them off pat them dry and put them in a ziplock bag. Pop them in the microwave and 6 minutes later you have the perfect lunch with just a topping or 5. Lol!! I also love them for dinner it’s a quick and easy side. They go well with everything.

Not jumbo

WorkerBee October 14, 2025

These are normal sized potatoes, not jumbo. I normally buy the regular 5 lb bag of russet potatoes and get a little tired of peeling all the small potatoes to make mashed potatoes. So, thought I’d try the “jumbo” russets in the 8 lb bag. Yes, they are bigger than the ones in the 5 lb bag, but really just normal sized potatoes. If you truly want jumbo, try the big box stores.

Don't get unless you're choosing them yourself. So many times these are half rotten! By the time I cut all the black rotten parts away I've turned jumbo baking potatoes into smaller than tennis ball sized potatoes! Even when I look over a bag myself I still get a bad bag. But pretty much always when delivered. Walmart needs to review/inspect their supplier

Only 3-4 Jumbo Potatoes Per Pack!

Lori October 18, 2025

We've been buying these "jumbo potatoes" for a long time now, but lately we are being scammed. I open the bag and the top 3 or 4 potatoes are indeed jumbo sized, but the rest of the bag are regular sized potatoes. We are not paying for total pounds, we are paying specifically for extra large, "jumbo" potatoes, not the same size we could buy in a cheaper pack of standard Idaho potatoes! Walmart better stop cheating folks!

Unfortunately, I will not buy again...

donna June 24, 2025

First off, I'd like to thank Walmart for refunding my money on these potatoes. I suspect most of the problem was not their fault. Many moving parts in the Walmart machine. I do not blame them for an oversight. 2nd, I recommend people do not buy these potatoes for delivery. Go into the store if you can or have a trusted delivery specialist purchase them for you. 3 times in a row now I have received less than the advertised 8lbs with half the bag not being Jumbo potatoes. 2 times I have complained about the quality and weight. This latest delivery I was given less than 6lbs with approximately half jumbo and half regular size. The more pressing problem was the fact several of these potatoes had mold on them. Contrary to what most believe, it is not advisable to eat potatoes that have had mold. Cutting off the mold parts do not make the potatoes safe for consumption. When fresh food develops mold, the entire produce is polluted with Mycotoxins. Mycotoxins are toxic compounds produced by mold (fungi). The Mycotoxins do not go away if the potato is boiled, baked, or fried.

8lb bag of JUMBO Baking Potatoes

Cynthia March 10, 2026

very disappointed with the quality of the potatoes from this bag. There are supposed to be 8 lbs JUMBO Baking Potatoes. It contained 2 nice size (not Jumbo) and the rest of them are the size you get in a regular 10 lb bag of russet potatoes and they all had rotten spots. I had to bake 3 potatoes to make 2 servings too be able to have a JUMBO Baked potato. I have been purchasing this item 1-2 a month for the past few years, so I know what should be in the bag. would recommend purchasing in store yourself and checking the contents before buying.

Johnny June 10, 2025

they are all rotten. they smell like fabulosa when you peel them and cut them open. last 10 lb bag was the same. this is a different bag and they are smell like fabulosa and they are rotten, it's a decaying smell. it's sad when you buy from a multi being dollar company company, instead of selling you good potatoes. they sell you rotten potatoes. first bag was Russell potatoes 10 lb, $3.90 Tax this bag is jumbo Russell potatoes 8 lb. $7.23 Tax =$14.97
