This review is for the JumpKing Oval 10 x 15 Foot Trampoline, with Two Basketball Hoops, Blue/Yellow. My son could not be more excited to get this. He is 10 and has been begging for a trampoline for awhile now. I can not get him off of it! It is ok though because anything that gets him outside and moving makes me happy. This trampoline is oval which prevents constant jumping only on the center like round trampolines which in turn helps I guess with too much wear in one spot. This trampoline has heavy duty uv protected jumping surface for strength and uv netting for safety. It also has a heavy duty steel frame. It was not that complicated to put together, it was more time consuming than anything else. Definitely need more than one person but my husband and I got the job done. The basketball hoops were a nice added bonus that my son is having a lot of fun with. This trampoline comfortably fits a couple of kids or two adults. I believe the weight limit is around 250 lbs which is higher than most trampolines I have researched. The netting is my favorite part because I am feel much better knowing he can't fall out. I am pleased with this product and my son definitely gives it 2 thumbs up.
Two big boxes were delivered. My husband didn't want to do the setup right then, so my 18 year old and 15 year old decided they couldn't wait and would do it themselves. The instruction don't have a lot of words - mostly pictures, but the two teenagers together got it put together in about an hour - up through the safety net, but I made them do that before they did any serious jumping. The younger siblings couldn't wait and were jumping the whole time they were attaching it. They all came in hot, sweaty and tired out - perfection! All four jump at once without crashing into each other. The included basket ball hoops at each end are a fun added touch. The hoops themselves are plastic, so the kids had to be cautioned not to try to hang on them. If you miss the back board with your shot, the ball will go outside of the nets, but hey - it's more exercise to retrieve it right? The older boys love trying trick shots while spinning etc. And they are playing together so well - ages 7 up to 18. Love that they are more excited to go outside and play together than to stay on the electronics.
The trampoline came in two large, extremely heavy (over a hundred pounds each) boxes. From that point on this became a project last lasted several days to set up. The elements worked against us, we have had a lot of rain. With that said I would estimate the time to actually assemble the trampoline would take 2 people a good 5-6 hours. The instructions were easy to follow, we laid out all the pieces and checked to make sure we had everything before we began assembly. It seemed overwhelming, but following the manual, everything fit into place perfectly. Thankfully they included a spring pulling tool to use with the assembly. The basketball hoops were probably the most agonizing, but that was at the end and we really just wanted to be done. But they got assembled, and we have 6 happy grand children. Of course the children love it, because of the rain, there hasn't been a lot of dry time yet. For me it's all about safety. I love the padding. The poles are padded, the springs are covered with padding. This is not a lightweight padding, and I appreciate that Jump King added the extra safety features. The springs are still very firm, so the kids have to work for their bounce. The trampoline is not recommended for children under 6, and has a weight limit of 200 pounds. We do not allow more than 2 people in the trampoline at a time. The 2 separate jumping areas are great because they do not fall in the middle. I believe the hardware is truly top of the line for durability, and safety. The frame, springs, and poles are all galvanized to prevent rusting. So for durability I believe this trampoline is going to last a long time.
Delivered in two big boxes. Two people needed to move inside. Husband assembled it in less than 2hrs. Assembly tools were included but he used some from his own toolbox to tighten, not sure which. Boys (4) had fun with their friends all weekend long, although they have to be reminded of the weight capacity but the two little ones jumped, dunked, and wrestled together with no problem. The backetball hoop (and ball) was a winner with the big boys!
Great trampoline. Assembled for use inside our garage. Kids (7, 10, 13) absolutely love it! Assembly took a few hours with just me. Could have been faster if I had a bigger space. It is heavy, sturdy. Great quality for the price. I'm the coolest dad in the neighborhood! Dimensions are accurate for outside the frame. trampoline is obviously within the frame, so smaller dimension than outside of frame. Hoops are good, so far. I told kids not to hang on them and be careful. they are made of plastic.
shipped very fast..took awhile to get together but the end result is great we tied our net on very tight and it worked great not sure why people say the net is flimsy maybe they didn't tie it tight enough anyways its great very good quality kids love it
love the trampoline only issue is we didnt realize that the rim to the basketball hoop was broke until we were done putting it together. other then that really love the trampoline. is there a way i can get another hoop in place of the broken one. really do not want to have to take a apart and return it just because the rim is broken.
We at first loved this but soon relieved it was a bad investment. The basketball hoops fell apart in just a few months, plastic is not UV resistant and netting is very cheap. The zipper a few weeks later would not work properly, with little kids this is probably the most important safety feature and it has failed. Wish we didnt spend so much on a poor design.
14ft round trampoline would have been better with having 4kids and alot cheaper
This trampoline is very poor quality. The zipper does not work well at all. I cannot get the zipper to come all the way down to the bottom which is a serious safety concern. The net is flimsy and poor quality. Overall I am extremely disappointed and wish I could return this.
