we purchased this ladder for the young kids at my household and it has been a wonderful help. the kids can get up easily and safely on there own. Very pleased with my order.
I have a 14ft trampoline and this ladder has worked perfect for us. It's stable and durable for my kids to easily and safely get up and down from the trampoline-a lot safer than the previous alternative of using a chair. I would only have one complaint & suggestion. First is that while putting it together, you can't really get all the nuts and bolts in place to tighten them all together because there's hardly any slack in the length of the bolts. You have to tighten down a couple of them first. The bolts were a pain in the rear, but once you get them all done, the product feels sturdy. The suggestion is to make the stairs anti-slip. As is, theyre a smooth coated metal that I feel my kids could slip on. Im going to the hardware store to purchase some grip tape to remedy this. Afterwards, I would feel this product is wonderful, especially for the price!! Sturdy, safe, it fits and my kids are happy with it.
THIS LADDER WORKS GREAT WITH THE SKYWALKER. WE PURCHASED A 15FT ONE AND THE LADDER IS VERY COMFORTABLE TO STEP ON AS THE RUNGS ARE FLAT. ADJUSTS VERY EASILY TO ADAPT TO THE HEIGHT OF THE TRAMPOLINE. I JUST WISH IT WERE A MORE SOLID METAL, BUT SO FAR IT HAS HELD UP VERY WELL WITH FOUR KIDS JUMPING ON IT AND GOING IN AND OUT ALL DAY.
When I purchased our trampoline I did not get a ladder hoping we could get by without one. Wrong. It's just too hard for little kids to get up onto the frame and get through the opening without it. This one has flat steps which are easier on bare feet since you're supposed to take your shoes off on the trampoline. I wish that the leg extensions were longer so that you could spread the ladder out further from the frame making it even easier for kids to get up and down. But the big advantage of this one is the flat steps. The bolts are a little short and should be about an eighth of an inch longer to accommodate the washer and lock washer that go on before the nut is fastened. I had to use a hammer to flatten the lock washer and could barely get the nut on after that. That's a minor complaint and can be worked around. Still a good value.
I have a 5 year old and a 20 month old they can both easily get on the trampoline but only my 5 year old can climb down. It was very easy to put together and put on trampoline.
This ladder is an ok ladder for the price. The steps are flat and the height is adjustable to fit different tramps. The only complaint I have is that when I opened the package the end caps were broken and the paint on the ladder itself was starting to chip in places. But overall it seems to be a good ladder in and of itself.
Must have- prefect for young children and adults. The ladder steps are flat versus the round painful ones. They also have a little bit of tred. Worth the extra twenty.
I wanted a ladder that had a flat step as apposed to just a round pole. This one met that so I was excited to find it. However t was to short for our 13 foot square Skywalker trample we got so I had to return it. It had adjustable heights available to set it at but even at the tallest height not was a good 6-8 inches to short. The ladder Skywalker recommended fit perfectly but they need a better step than just a rod.
This is a very nice ladder, however, it hooks at the end do not fit around the edge of the trampoline, making it difficult to fit securely in place. The ends have extensions, but they were not long enough, so I had to put in rock supports at the bottom to stabilize. I have the 14 x 8 trampoline. This is great and may fit the round trampolines, but it did not fit the rectangle one I have.
The ladder was great for the price, we like the flat steps. However, it was sent without the hardware, so we had to go to lowes and take the whole thing to find the right sized hardware,. Also, the plastic covering on the top was already cracked. It had to be duct taped. Functionally, great but the lack of hardware and pre-cracked parts made it a frustrating purchase.
