I've used this product in the past, and it is high quality, temporary basting spray I use to hold quilt layers together for quilting on my regular sewing machine. It adheres well, dries quickly, doesn't “gunk up” my needle while quilting, and washes out in the laundry. I don't have experience making quilts with anything other than cotton top, batting, and back, so I don't know how it will perform on other fabrics. I really like this basting spray. The next day delivery was local, on time, and right to my door. I am pleased!
IT USED TO COST $8 A CAN AND IS NOW $24 .A TRIPLE INCREASE IS A BIT TO MUCH. I DID WRITE TO THE COMPANY TO COMPLAIN. FOR THOSE OF US WHO LOVE TO MAKE QUILTS FOR OTHERS LIKE HOSPICE,.RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE AND , VETERANS FROM OUR QUILTING GROUP IT INCREASES THE COST PER QUILT BY QUITE A BIT. IT DEFINITELY IS THE BEST SPRAY BUT LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE THE COST OF PRODUCTS LEADS TO BEING LESS GENEROUS.
I used this basting spray to hold stretch fabric appliqués in place while sewing. It worked great. It is a nice low tack spray that allows for things to be repositioned. My machine didn't have any issues sewing through it and the product didn't have any odors. Will purchase again.
I really like this spray. I use it to hold my quilt layers together rather than basting with thread or pins. It's easy and fast — just spray the batting, lay the quilt top over, and smooth it out. It doesn't gum up my needles or make the quilt feel stiff. You can even pull it loose and adjust if needed.
Bought this to refresh my Cricut mat that had lost its stickiness. I washed the mat, then taped the edges of the mat so they didn't get sticky. Sprayed the mat and let sit for a day. It's now like new! One can is cheaper than one new mat and a can will last for a very long time.
I'm using it to make my Cricut mats sticky to put fabric on. I cut my quilt pieces on my Cricut machine and the mat loses the stickiness quickly. This spray adhesive really helps a lot to keep me from having to buy mats as often. Highly recommend!
I've tried other brands of basting spray. This by far is the best, in my opinion. There doesn't seem to be as much overspray as the others. It just works so well. It's the only one I'll use now
I like using the JT quilt basting spray to hold the 3 layers of my quilts together while I machine quilt them. It's easy to use, keeps the layers from shifting while quilting. The can usually lasts for several quilts. Shake well before use and turn upside down and spray to clear nozzle after using.
I was extremely disappointed in my can of this June Tailor adhesive spray. it did not spray properly. Instead of a nice clean, steady spray it was like a “sputter” or “spitting” spray flow. i did not return it because I had to use it to complete a project. I believe I received the last one in the store so that might have explained the issue. This complaint is mainly for your informational purposes
Cannot say clear enough how disappointed I am with this.... does not spray AT ALL .... No matter what we try ie:... clearing the spray button..... a LOT of money for something that does not work... Unfortunately i did not use it right away so i don't know if i can get my money back!
