Fun swing set with a variety of play structures

IdahoMom August 7, 2023

For this review of the Jungle Warrior Anaconda Obstacle Course Metal Swing Set, I should start with assembly. Assembling the swing set with 2 people, took us 6.5 hours. Some of that assembly required only 1 person, but many steps were easier with 2 people. I had not realized assembly would take this long, but there are a lot of parts and a 45-page assembly instruction book with 25 total steps in the process. All of the needed parts and tools were included, other than the corkscrew anchors that were recommended for certain types of anchoring scenarios. I would say that the instructions were adequate, although they didn’t always point out important distinctions in the connecting parts. This structure not only looks inviting, in colorful orange, black & green, but it is also very sturdy and heavy duty. My g-children love to play on it, especially the parts of the swing set that are not on a “typical” swing, like the 2-person (40-inch) saucer swing and the mesh-sided crawl-through tunnel. The 2-year old loved the 5-foot plastic slide best. There are 3 ways to climb up to the tunnel and slide; two of them are rung ladders and the third way is like a mini climbing wall, with shaped, plastic hand and foot-holds. My only complaint is that the structure is not very high. I measured it at an inch under 6-feet tall. I don’t know how this compares with other swing sets, but this swing set is clearly designed for younger children, as listed on the instruction booklet, “Designed to be used simultaneously by up to 8 children, ages 3 to 8.” Older and taller children will need something bigger to play on, but I would definitely recommend this exciting swing set for younger children!

So easy to set up and assemble! Foolproof!

Boymom17 September 2, 2023

This play set was the easiest thing to set up! We have set up 3 so far and this one was easily the quickest to do so. It provides our kids plenty of fun outside and the materials are very durable and weather resistant!

Nice swing set

Kat427 August 14, 2023

This swing set is a very nice swing set with lots of activities to keep the kids playing all day. This is not my first swing set that I've had to put together and it took my husband and I a few hours to put together. I really like the little tunnel. Its a nice swing set for the kids to enjoy the outdoors.

Fun to play with, no fun to assemble

Maur44 September 2, 2023

The good: Once put together the play set is pretty cool, there are a lot of things to do, two regular swings that are sturdy and built well, a saucer swing that's also very sturdy and built well, a slide that is a little short and difficult to assemble- but works well, a climb though tunnel thay feels sturdy, but wasn't able to be assembled as instructed, and a small climbing wall. Way more features than most play sets in this style. My 4yr old is very impressed and excited to have this right in her back yard. The bad: There are so many parts and small pieces, large parts are only labeled by plastic bags that slide off in transport or when you're moving them around, no other label indicator, so when they slip off you have to really compare to the picture and that can be difficult and time consuming. The screws and bolts come in blister packs, but several of the parts had multiple blisters, not all "Z5" pieces were in one spot, there were three spots for the same part and sometimes in an entirely different pack. Several of the pieces did not fit together as intended, pieces of tje tunnel and caps for the screws did not fit in multiple places. Almost every screw seemed about 2 mm shorter than it should have been to feel secure, barely long enough to get the nut screwed on. It took over 4 hours to put this together, but could have taken far less with clearer packaging, instructions, and pieces that fit together as intended. We took two days because we had to stop and go to the hardware store. It did not come with anchors that are required, but we purchased them separately. It would be worth paying the $20 extra to include them so you have everything you need. The slide assembly was far too complicated for a one piece slide. The tunnel did not assemble correctly, no matter how hard we tried. Other: It's the perfect size for my 4 year old, who is as tall as most 6yr olds. If your child of over 6 they may grow out of this too quickly, but it's perfect for 3-7. It seems like it would last about 2 years, but it's too soon to tell. Overall I would only recommend this if you have access to additional hardware and are capable of compensating for minor issues in assembly. Once put together it functions as intended and is a more useful and interesting that traditional swing sets.

Looks fun but meant for very young kids.

LeslieTum September 6, 2023

I received this swing set in order to provide an unbiased review of the product. Putting the swing set together took all day. It was a lot of work. Once put together, the swing set was not very sturdy. When my child would swing, both end legs would go up. The metal is lighter weight and something needs to hold down the legs. Overall my kids like it. I wouldn't recommend for kids older then 7 or 8m my daughter is 8 and this swing set is too small for her.
