Jurassic World Chaos Theory Wild Roar Majungasaurus Dinosaur Action Figure Toy, Chomp Attack & Sound

An appealing new addition to the JW lineup. This figure features excellent build quality with a distinctive sculpt and eye-catching paint colors. I especially appreciate the new teeth design that Mattel has incorporated into most of their more recent figures, and it offers more than enough articulation for those who value movement. However, there are a few downsides. In typical Mattel style, they neglected to paint the claws, so I had to add paint to both the hands and feet (including the dewclaws). The action feature is activated by rolling a visible wheel integrated into its spine, which detracts from an otherwise great sculpt. Additionally, the pull-out barcode feature is present—instead of being conveniently located on the bottom of one of the figure's feet, it serves as an unnecessary visual aberration. I honestly wonder why Mattel opted for this design choice; it's both frustrating and illogical. Despite these quibbles, I really enjoy this figure and am happy to add it to my collection.

The imagination doesn't end, from foraging and hunting outside to having a sleep over with his other Jurassic dino friends!! The details are vivid, durable, and the realistic joints and movement are beyond expectations!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jurassic world majungasurus 'major' wild roar dinosaur is perfect for my 4 year old son. He loves this toy so much when it roars, he loves to roar as well. It goes well with the many dinosaurs he has already.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dinosaur figure is an upgrade from standard plastic dinosaurs, featuring numerous movable parts (legs, arms, even jaws!) and a realistic roar. As a parent, I appreciate that the sounds are just the right volume—not too loud, not too quiet. I'm not a dinosaur expert, but so many little kids are (including my own!) and I think this line has an impressive array of realistic dinosaur options, including ones beyond the few most popular. The one thing to consider, as with any electronic toy, is that these are not meant to encounter water, other than a damp cloth for wiping down, so you may want to keep these separate from plastic creatures that are water-safe so your littles don't get confused and accidentally immerse them in water.

It's not high tech, but it's good quality and I love the dexterity it helps younger toddlers work on in order to spin the wheel for the roars. It kept two toddlers incredibly entertained and has held up well to rough play. 10/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Daughter LOVES the Moving mouth as it roars. Its a Little hard for her to activate cause you have to flick/roll it on the back. But that doesn't stop her from playing with it. Its a great size for little hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty cool jurassic world dinosaur. I like that it has an "action wheel" on its back to spin and create a dino roar and light up effect. When you spin the wheel, the dinosaur's jaw moves up and down, flashes lights and makes a growling sound. Pretty cool for any dinosaur collector! 4 stars because if you don't have other dinos to play with, you might lose interest quickly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dinosaur had my kid roaring for joy. It was fun to hear the dinosaur roar! My child quickly moved its head in the up and down position, the tail could be turned, and the arms turn and can be flapped. The challenges that did show up were the wheel that helps the dinosaur roar is a bit stiff which can be hard for some young children to operate alone and that if you move the head yourself it will not make sound. My son has another dinosaur of the same brand that can roar even with the neck being move or with the button, hence the 4-star review. Snapping in the tail also uses a bit of force, but once it is in it won't easily fall out which is great. The dinosaur's size is also great for carrying around. My son enjoyed being able to play with the dinosaur and even had a fierce head-to-head fight to show off reigns king!

He likes that it will roar when you press to open its mouth, and that it looks “realistic and scary”! He also loved the green color of this dinosaur. He does enjoy playing with this one on its own, but he usually adds more dinosaurs/characters, so I do wish it came with a character from the show, but that can easily be purchased separately! Which is what we ended up doing, and that made for more imaginative play. We would definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little guy likes the size of this dinosaur. He can carry it around with ease. It has a wheel you turn on its back to make it roar and open his mouth. You can move the arms and legs with ease. The tail had to be attached out of the packaging. Unfortunately it didn't really interest him for to long. You do pop something up on the back to get the dinosaur in the app. We downloaded the app and gave it a try and it wss fun to play for a while but he hasn't asked to play ot after we played it the first time. My daughter who is 7 tried it as well and did not seem to like it to much either. The draw really seems to be to get the dino in the app with these toys. The are nicely put together and have nice coloring but they are hard to stand up to really make a scene for the dinosaurs which is what he likes to do. My son is not really crazy about different types of dinosaurs yet so that also might have something to do with it.
