Jurassic World Gigantic Trackers Mapusaurus Dinosaur Action Figure Toy, Large Species

Mattel once again delivers by adding a very cool species to their lineup. The sculpt and detailing are impressive, especially with the textures across the body and head. While the action feature provides interactive play, the spin wheels on the back stand out as a bit of an eyesore, and the pull-up barcode feels intrusive. Proportionally, the head might be slightly oversized and the tail somewhat short—but that's just nit-picking. The extendable back spikes aren't my cup of tea aesthetically, but they likely add fun play value for kids and more hands-on collectors. Paint application is surprisingly strong here. Mattel isn't always known for top-tier deco, but this figure sports a pleasing paint job with no obvious signs of cost-cutting. There are two known variants: one sporting a slightly paler shade, yet both are visually appealing. At nearly 6" tall and 14" long, the Mapusaurus has solid shelf presence. All in all, this is an easy figure to recommend—well-designed, fun for those who enjoy play features, and definitely collectible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will have a very excited 4 year old when he sees this! This dinosaur is a really good size for imaginary play. Its head and body parts are easy to move and allow for the dinosaur to be positioned in many different ways. The packaging is bright and will be easily recyclable which is always a plus. I'm not sure how hard wearing this will be as it is yet to be played with but I have high hopes for it.

The level of detail on this dinosaur is incredible, from the realistic sculpting to the colorful habitat-specific design. My son is obsessed with the spin-wheel-activated mega bite feature and the cool back spikes that make it ready for battle. At 13.8 inches long, it's a perfect size for imaginative play and fierce dino battles. He also had so much fun scanning the hidden Tracking Code to unlock games in the Jurassic World Play App. Thank you, Influenster, for making my son's day with this amazing toy!

It is made of a quality plastic with many great features like the spines on It's back. The packaging is so detailed there's no way he will throw the box out! It's such a great toy for any dinosaur lover, and not just for kids!!

With features as a pull up qr code near the tail to scan to be took on adventures with your Dino! Packaging was great, the toy is quite thick so durability during play was good! The spikes aren't so hard so it's comfort in my sons hands. The description to what it says the toy does has 100 percent accuracy. Versatility was awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fun little toy, meant for kids but have it on my shelf with my fossil collection. Feels like good quality plastic. Packaging was poor and bashed on arrival.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For any child that likes dinosaurs then this would be great for them. It's very well made so should be hard to break. It has movable arms, legs, feet and the end of the tail. If you turn the wheels on top of his back then head will move up and down as well as its mouth opens and shuts. There is also a button under the top of its tail that if you push it then spikes come up along the top of his back that just push back down. Also at the top of its tail is a hidden scan chip that pulls up but it's rather awkward to do so as hard to get hold off it to pull it up. When you scan the code on your phone it takes you to a app you can down load and it's tells you all about your dinosaur and you canlearn about others and plays games involving dinosaurs. My 8 year old nephew loved this and he is dinosaur mad. It's a shame it does not have sound effects as would off been so cool with sounds of it roaring so I deducted 1 star for this.
