Jurassic World Hammond Collection Lost World Jurassic Park Stegosaurus Action Figure, Large Dinosaur

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a review of the Jurassic World Hammond Collection Stegosaurus. I let me 8 year old niece play with this while she was visiting. She loves dinosaurs and stegosaurus is her 2nd favorite dinosaur. She really appreciated the detail in the toy. She spent a lot of time posing it in different positions outside and taking pictures of it in the flower planters. She was a little afraid of breaking it at first as the joints were a little tight in the legs but once I told her not to worry and just keep pushing she found all kinds of new poses. Then she discovered that the tail could also be bent more than she thought it could and that opened up even new possibilities. She spent a couple of hours playing with "Stevie" before she had to leave but not before making her parents promise that they would see if the collection includes a version of ankylosaurus which is her 1st favorite dinosaur. She's a big fan of Camp Cretaceous. Overall I think this is a great toy for the right child. The looks of the dinosaur are very faithful to the movie animals and the articulation opens up a lot of possibilities. I would be nice if there was a little info sheet printed on the box or included inside that lets you know how much the joints can be bent and that the tail is also slightly bendable. The detail of the toy also looks great just displayed on a shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Stegosaurus action figure is great. Very realistic and moves. The skin is very detailed. Would make a great gift for an adult fan of Jurassic Park or Stegosaurus's. And of course a kid would have a great time with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In this house love dinosaurs! The size of this dinosaur is fantastic, It’s made very well, very sturdy and durable. The size and quality of this toy will provide hours of play time for my kids. My kids want every dinosaur from this collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we received the Jurassic Park Hammond Collection Stegosaurus, my daughter and I were both surprised by the size of the toy. My preteen daughter opened the toy, and the box was nice, thick cardboard with bright colors and nice print. For someone who likes to display toys in the box, the Stegosaurus box would be nice for this sort of display. The box itself wasn’t that difficult for her to open, requiring only minor help from her father. The Stegosaurus is roughly nine inches in height and fourteen inches long. Not only is the size impressive, but the details on the Stegosaurus are some of the best I have ever seen, making this a high quality toy. My daughter was extremely impressed with the details on the body and face. The coloring of the skin is superb, and the details in the eyes and back plates are impressive. The Stegosaurus has moveable legs, tail, head and the feet. The tail and limbs have limited movement, back and forth, or around. The feet of the dinosaur move independently of the legs which is a nice touch that my daughter loved. The tail twists around, but doesn’t move side to side. The only part that both myself and my daughter found odd was that the mouth didn’t open. She would have liked the mouth to open, but I could see that that would not work on this particular dinosaur since the mouth is quite small. We do not own any others in this series, so I am not sure if the others have moving mouths. Overall, this is a very nice toy that can be for both older collectors as well as younger children who simply want to play with dinosaurs. My daughter and I were both quite impressed with this action figure. Not only is the toy well made and impressive with the look of the dinosaur and its size, but the fact that it has moving parts just makes the figure that much more fun

He saw that it is a collector edition so he chose to keep it in the box. If you have a Jurassic Park lover in your family they will be happy with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This huge stegasouraus is a great addition to my 8 yr olds collection. He loves the movable tail and the fact that he is so much bigger than his other dinosaurs. The coloring, textures and attention to detail are amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is obsessed with dinosaurs, and the Mattel Stegosaurus quickly became a favorite. The detail is impressive, from the textured skin to the realistic coloring. It’s sturdy enough to withstand rough play, and the movable legs and tail make it more interactive. We've used it for imaginative play at home and even brought it along on a road trp and it held up great. Highly recommend for any young dinosaur enthusiast!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked how poseable it is, but the joints are very stiff and take a lot of force to get them to start moving. One of the leg joints is so stiff it felt like I was going to break it. For the pose ability of the legs, it feels as if the legs on the right side move more than the ones on the left, being especially apparent with the back pair of legs. For the tail, the tail is easy to attach and remove. I enjoy the squishy texture and how it's different from the rest of the body. With the tail removed from the dinosaur it is able to maintain a good balance, but with the tail in the dinosaur becomes very bottom heavy and tips backwards making it unstable. As long as the tail is not attached, the dinosaur can maintain the pose you put it in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves to collect things so this was the perfect gift. First of all both of us were very surprised at how big the dinosaur was. It was also very lifelike. He loved the design and the details that were on the dinosaur. He also liked the fact that the dinosaur had movable joints that can be used to position it different ways. He likes this collection and is looking to purchase more from this line. He keeps it in the box to enhance its value and persevere the condition of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this stegosaurus for my teenager to have with his other action figures. He liked the tail and all the detail on the figure. He liked the articulation of the tail. He was a bit disappointed in the movement of the back legs, they just move forward and backwards. I was disappointed that the figure didn’t have a jaw/mouth to open. Other than that, it looks great with his caveman action figure.
