[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These dinosaurs are so much fun! The quality is amazing and the fact that you can use the app to interact with the dinosaurs is definitely a bonus! My daughter has played with the Dino and the game for hours. The app is easy to use with the dinosaurs and it's simple enough that a 6 and 7 year old can work it by themselves. My daughter is already planing to collect more of the dinosaurs and add them to her collection on the app as well!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having the toy for a little bit over a week I've decided that the Roarin' Carnotaurus is a good toy that is durable and easy to clean. Pros: • Easy for small kids (4+) to use. • The simple design makes it easy to clean. • The roar sound is not too loud or annoying. • It stands in both horizontal and vertical positions. Cons: • The bright red color makes it look like a little kid toy. • The legs are stiff and hard to move, but the feet can move easily which can be frustrating for kids. What I liked- My daughter has no problem pressing the button on the spine to make it roar. The toy is well balanced so it doesn't tip over easily and can stand on its two feet. I was afraid the squishy plastic would attract dirt, but it hasn't. It has a simple design, no moving tail, jaws, or other complicated pieces which made cleaning it easy. My kiddo decided to feed it some PB &J, and I was able to get the jam off with just a wet wipe. What could be improved- The legs are a bit stiff and that makes it hard for my daughter to move them. When she tries, she ends up making the legs go completely one way or another and the dino ends up doing the splits. She can move the feet easily though, and that can sometimes be frustrating for her. I'm not sure if this is a bad thing, but the bright red color doesn't blend into the black paint. This color choice makes the toy look like it is for small elementary kids. Older kids may want something that is more natural or ‘realistic'. Final Thoughts- My kid likes this toy and so do I. I would recommend it for other parents who have younger elementary aged children. For kids that are older, like ten and up I'd be a bit more hesitant, and I wouldn't recommend it at all for adult collectors.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super cool dinosaur. Love the real feel texture. My almost 3 year old daughter loves dinosaurs and has tons of fun playing with this one. The dino is partly red which is her favorite color which adds to her excitement.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are in love with the Jurassic World dinosaurs. Having one that makes noise and is moveable is a great upgrade for them. This dinosaur has been outside in the dirt and used in all settings and has held up amazingly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a black carnitaurus. My 3yo is a dinosaur lover and this one was no exception. The size is great and he loves that it roars. It fits nicely with some of our other Dino's from that collection. I like the soft feel and the realistic look of it is great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE the vibrant colors and the feel of the dino's skin. The noises are okay. I feel like they could be slightly deeper and louder. I also sort of expected this toy to be slightly larger. Overall pretty neat though!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Carnotaurus found a home right away among my 8 year old son's Jurassic World toys. His first reaction right away was that the red and black color was the coolest combination he'd seen. This dino had an audio feature, too, a hearty roar if you squeeze his back. There's a panel on his leg that opens and has a code that we scanned to add the dinosaur to the Jurassic World Play app. This is a really cool feature where you get an animated videogame version of your dino toy on-screen. We like to take augmented photos. The thing that keeps this from being his favorite dino toy is the jaw is not articulated to open and close - its soft and you can kind of squeeze it but not hinged like his absolute favorite dinos. Still - a great toy with cool colors, a good audio feature and a neat app
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dinosaur has the real feel skin and the body and paint is close to the original version. My children enjoy the dinosaurs hut were disappointed that the jaw/mouth is permanently open rather than being able to open and close.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying that my Dino loving little one has been playing with this a lot. She likes the “real” feel of the dinosaur skin and the detail on the skin and body. She also thinks that the tiny arms, though anatomically correct, are absolutely adorable and hilarious. I like that she likes it. The couple of things that are a miss for us which are certainly not “deal breakers” One, it's hard to stand up. I don't know if that's user error but we have the hardest time getting it to stay standing up unless the legs are in the perfect position. Two, the mouth does not close so it's always just hanging open which limits pretend play. Aside from that my child definitely likes it, she thinks the skin and arms are great, and we'd recommend adding to any Dino collection!
I contacted seller - got no response because it looked really shabby- the packaging like it was not brand new . I also don't know if I actúally got the right thing . It's suppose to roar and I don't see anywhere to press like packaging states to make it roar . I googled it and everything. My hubby said return it but my Grandson wanted it so we will see on Christmas. If it doesn't do what it's supposed to do - I will be returning it . Also, not sure why there's a contact seller feature if they don't respond to you either !!
