Jurassic World Savage Strike Velociraptor Blue

We have purchased many of the Jurassic Toys from Walmart and my grandchildren can play with them for hours. Made very well and no loose or small parts to get lost. Detail is very good to look just as in the movie. Great value.

My 7 year old son is a huge Jurassic Park and Dinosaur fan so he was very excited when he got this toy. He loves playing with it. It has a cool jumping mechanism. your best bet is to watch our video of my kiddos testing this product in both blue and green(they each have slightly different features). the main difference in FUN is that this one as you push down on the lower back where the body meets the tail it goes into the sitting position, upon release it will jump up and forward like and a real attack. the kids had a great time trying to attacked each other. my kids are 8, 11 and 14. while i think an 11 year may like it, my youngest and oldest especially(she used to want to be a paleontologist and still loves dinos) had the best time. I got this for my 6 yr old son. He is OBSESSED with dinosaurs. He has just about any dinosaur you can think of. He got this one and couldn't believe it jumped. My son loves dinosaurs and he loves Jurassic World and especially Blue. It is a well made toy with a lot of detail and is part of a wider collection of dinosaurs from the movie. My son loves playing with this dinosaur toy and it is the right size for smaller hands. I would definitely recommend this toy to others who have kiddos that are into dinosaurs and the movie. small. but blue was small when scaled against the others in the collection. the jump feature does not work which i had read. however my boy wanted a blue and this is the only one i can find which took me a while to finally come across.

I'm reviewing the velociraptor Blue for Mattel. In my opinion it is not as flexible although his legs arms head and mouth move but over all his body is stiff. He has a little leap that he does but it does not land on his feet. His colors and body textures are realistic looking. So far he seems to entertaining for a little while. So far my kids like it. I think mostly because it's “Blue” from the movie and they love the movies. It's smaller than anticipated and does feel at little more substantial that the Charlie toy, I think because Charlie's arms are a little flimsy. It took us a few minutes to figure out the jump action. You press in a certain place and it was t super obvious based on the box picture. Once we got it though the kids loved it. This is a fun dinosaur figurine from the Jurassic Park franchise. If your child likes Blue, they will be excited to play with this toy. Did not expect for $27 to get a 7 1/2 inch dinosaur. Expensive mini dinosaur.
