Almost like prune syrup.
I didn't realize when I ordered this it would have so much prune in it. Not to my liking for recipes!

Buyer Beware
Buyer beware, the cost is OUTRAGEOUS for the disgusting taste and small amount within this product, I took only a minute taste of this substance and knew I had to toss and would not even give to a neighbor as I cannot imagine anyone enjoying this product but a lab rat. I am a senior citizen on a limited budget and I felt stolen from with this high price for such an awful substance.
