Just For Me Texture Softening System, 1-Count Kit

I have 4b/4c textured hair. Looking at the pictures on the box, I wasn't sure if this texturizer would work for me, since the girl featured in the "before" and "after" picture had a looser curl pattern than I did. However, I took a chance and had it applied. This texturizer is much better than the adult "Soft n Beautiful" texturizer I used in the past. This one comes with sunflower oil that moisturizes my hair and makes it easier to comb through, reducing the application time. Also, this texturizer produces a better end result. This one defines my curls well without making my hair looked clumped together and gives my hair more volume. I would definitely recommend this product. I would also recommend using coconut and/or sunflower oil to moisturize the hair for daily wear.

I have natural wavy, medium texture hair. My natural hair color is dark brown and when it's straightened, it comes to the middle of my back. I love Just For Me Texture Softener. I started using it February 2012 and I will be staying with this product. Not only do I use the Texture Softener but I also use the Just For Me: Hair Milk Shampoo and Conditioner, Straightening Mist, Curl Smoother Crème, Smoothing Gel, Smoothing Edges Crème. I do not use them all at once on my hair, it all depends on how I style. No matter what, I always use the Just For Me Hair Milk Shampoo and Conditioner. All the products have a beautiful scent. I have very sensitive skin and scalp. The Sunflower Oil is a Miracle! The texture softener does not burn me and there is no hair breakage and it adds shine. Follow the directions exactly as its read!!! My hair is soft, wavy and most important, healthy. I only use wide tooth combs on my hair. I recommend everyone use wide tooth combs. With the Just For Me Texture Softener you can use a flat iron to straighten your hair if you want to change up from your naturally wavy or curly hair. I do not use the flat iron. I also recommend sleeping in a silk scarf at night, silk is expensive but it's worth every penny and it's healthy for your hair. If not silk for you, then sleep in a satin scarf. Touch up only on the roots, new growth, and write it on the calendar when you use the Texture Softener every time so you know when it's time to do it again. I use it every 8 to 10 weeks. Just For Me! I was afraid I could not use a texturizer after having relaxed my hair for so many years, but decided to go for it. What an amazing result. I LOVE how my hair feels now. I waited until I had about 2 inches of new growth and applied the product. My hair came out so silky and smoothe. Combing through it was easy. I didn't have any frizzy ends or any tangles like I normally would after having relaxed my hair. My hair felt "free". It didn't feel pasted to my head and didn't feel like I needed to apply tons of moisturizer after the process. I have no problems air drying my hair and the styling tips they provide are on point. No more relaxers for me!!!! Wish I had used a texturizer in the very beginning! I love my soft waves now and I had no issues between the newly texturized hair and the previously relaxed hair.
