This serum smells great. Its subtle and not overpowering. It feels good going on, very light and doesn't feel oily. I've been struggling to grow in a healthy beard and have high hopes for this serum. It left my facial hair / skin feeling moisturized and soft.

The 2.0 ounce jar has a twist off cap with an applicator, however, the instructions on the bottle ask the customer to pour a small amount into your hand then apply to the beard. The product is of thick consistency. It is not oily or greasy and it applies easily to the beard. It leaves no residue. The serum has a pleasant Forest Musk scent. Water is the first ingredient shown on the list of ingredients. I would need many more uses over a period of time to truly see if the product strengthens and thickens facial hair.
