Just the Way You Are

Kristy McNichol had a difficult time making this movie, but somehow turned in an extremely appealing performance. The ski competition scene is a crowd pleaser. Love the score. -- Even though there is a love story, I would say this is more about over coming limiting thoughts you would have about yourself. An aspect of the story that Kristy McNichol brings to life vividly. -- My only critique is the picture quality is barely any better then a VHS, but if you're familiar with the Warner Archive line, you probably already know that going in.

This film from the eighties has stood the test of time! The scenery, partly filmed on location in France, makes for a visually appealing backdrop for the story. Real locations are always preferable to sets or green screen, because they enable the viewer to travel without boarding a plane! Kristy McNichol gives a great performance in this movie. She comes across as authentic and believable. The message of the film is also meaningful. I enjoyed the movie!

I loved the scenery of the beautiful snow in different countries.

I hadn't seen this movie in a long time. I ordered and had a great time watching this movie again. Kristy McNichols is a flute player with a handicapped leg that she has a brace on to walk. She ends up wearing a cast and faking a broken foot and goes skiing as a gimp. Nobody knows she is handicapped at the lodge, only a broken leg, so she fits in with everybody else. Some very funny scenes. My wife and I laughed and we now have watch 2 time. I would recommend this movie. Another great thing is, after I bought the movie, a week later, this movie went on sale with Walmart refunding the difference to me. Win/Win .

Kristy Mcnichol was great she is a great actor and a gorgeous lady I wish she never stopped acting
