"JUSTIN PRODUCTS INC. CAPTAIN AMERICA SHIELD 24 IN"

This shield was exactly what I was looking for. I needed it for a Captain America outfit and it is the perfect touch. If you are looking for an adult size decent quality shield for under a few hundred bucks on the internet this is the one for you. Everything on Amazon is either tiny child shields or only a few poor quality adult sized ones. They are made out of basically rubbery plastic that folds in half like paper. This shield is much more sturdy made of PVC like it says but I would recommend making a few modifications like I did. The straps to hold your arm are pretty much useless so here is what I did. Get a 2' by 2' circle of cardboard to reinforce the shield. Cover one side completely with duct tape(the side that will face out), I used grey, and make adjustments to secure the other side to the shield(reinforcing uses an entire roll of duct tape). Best way to attach to shield is circle of tape around the perimeter of cardboard circle and tape loops between the shield and cardboard(plus anything else you think would work, a few dabs of superglue to right places would be great). You can have just the flat cardboard or you can cut a tiny pizza slice sliver out of the circle and push the center in to make a cone shape. This is what I did to fit the shield better. You should have enough left over to make much better arm holders than it comes with. Just make some marks with your arm pressed against it find the best places to put the straps. I used one for my hand to hold onto, one for my wrist, and two for my forearm. Anyway I've rambled on now but this is the best adult shield you will find for the price. For $30, 2' by 2' adult Captain America shield, sturdy PVC instead of the rubber plastic garbage, and can easily be reinforced with cardboard and duct tape. Makes a fun project and you can customize it to yourself. Also a fun man cave wall decoration when it's not Halloween. It is a good buy.

My grandson in 3 1/2 and this is perfect. He loves that he can hide behind it and he has not put it down since we gave it to him.....2 weeks ago. Best 30 bucks we ever spent on him.

I am dressing up as the female Captain America and wanted a larger shield than what was shown on the costume photo. This is perfect!

I scoured the internet for one of these shields...long story short, I didn't want to spend a TON of money on it, because it is going to be put to a use where it will very likely get banged up. It was SO expensive everywhere I looked, from eBay to Amazon to Google Shops...everywhere. I was thrilled to find it on Walmart's website for worlds cheaper than I had been able to find it anywhere else. It arrived very quickly, and I love it! :)

Great prop for the Capt America costume offered by the same manufacturer, Disguise. Too bad they don't offer deluxe version of the same costume with it, the gloves, the boot covers and an upgraded mask which they also make.

The shield isn't too flimsy, which was my biggest concern. It looks nice, has a glossy paintjob. Not really any scuffs and little paint errors. The red is a little cloudy in spots, but for a costume, it's not too concerning. I will probably repaint mine after Halloween and display it. The straps are the one thing I'm not super thrilled with. It'll fit on your arms just fine, but I would worry about the elastic if you're going to be at all rough with it. I just wanted to be able to strap it to my back and wear it, but I can't, the straps are only big enough for your arm. I also wouldn't recommend throwing it. I really want to, the urge is very strong, but I don't think the pvc will hold up if you do.

My man-child loved it. He even has plans to hang it in his office. I felt it was a tad over priced and there was a small defect on the star possibly due to packaging.

Shield is a portion of the costume that set the rest of the Captain America costume off of the hook. Was good buy for the price individuals who saw the shield state it added to the costume.

The shield is great in size and color, but it's pretty flimsy. I feel like we need to re-enforce it or something. Of course, I suppose if it was too solid, it could do some major damage to both objects and people whilst being flailed around by our 6 year old son, but it seems like a shield should be pretty solid, even if it is just a toy.

I picked up the product at the store. The box was partially crushed. I opened the box to check the product and I found the product to be crushed and cracked. I returned the product and I won't be ordering anything from Walmart.com anytime soon if ever.
