Love this almond butter. I can't have sugar, but I can have maple.
Justin's Maple almond butteris literally my favorite thing. It makes a perfect for a snack. Just a tub and a pack of pretzels. (Or apples, or toast, or waffles, or rice cakes) It's so smooth, a little sweet, a little salty, and very decadent. There are like teeny sugar crystals of flavor bursts too. Just try it!! Even my kids will eat more apples with this to dip. So it's a win all around!
I love the taste of maple in the morning. It brings back simpler times. That's why I enjoyed the maple almond butter. I could still taste the almonds, but the maple was present and made it enjoyable. I used this as a topping on my pancakes instead of syrup, and it was enjoyable. It allowed me to get the maple taste, but not the guilt of adding syrup.
The Justin's Maple Almond Butter is comparable to other almond butters but on steroids. It is a healthier alternative to peanut butter spread products and tastes just as good if not better. It can be used to eat by itself or on any of your favorite bread or dough products, any time of the day. The almonds in the butter give it a desired consistency and crunch without it being so crunchy that you have to actually chew the butter. The added maple flavor adds to the already tasty flavor of the almond butter and provides added sweetness to the profile. I would purchase this product and would definitely recommend to friends and family.
I tried USTIN'S® MAPLE ALMOND BUTTER as part of a free sample program. These packets are AMAZING! I am a commuter so I keep these packets with me because they are easy to eat and provide a quick pick-me-up on the train. This is different from other products I have tried because it is so rich and creamy with a great flavor! I would recommend to anyone.
I thought the extra maple addition to this butter sweetened it up just the right amount. It went perfectly on a bagel and some toast, with some bananas on top. The single serve pouch was perfect to also add a little bit to my smoothie. Super easy to keep on my purse or in a bag when traveling and would definitely recommend!
I received the Justin's Almond butter as a sample. I was excited to try it, as I'm always looking for alternatives to peanut butter as a topping and protein source. Let's start with the positives- the taste is yummy and the individual packets made it easy to dole out a serving size. There was easily enough to top both sides of my English muffin. However, I found that no matter how much I kneaded the package beforehand, I had difficulty getting it all out of the packet and I hate feeling wasteful like that. The texture is a little gritty, which I prefer a smoother spread. The almond taste comes through immediately but the maple flavoring is very hard to notice. I was hoping for a stronger maple taste, especially this time of year (fall). Overall, a good product- just don't expect smooth or a strong flavoring to accompany the almond taste.
Tasted okay but I mistakenly assumed that if it didn't have to be stirred it only contained almonds, maple syrup, and salt. Got it home and found PALM OIL in the mix. Tastes good but should have read the label. I can get almond butter by other manufacturers without the palm oil.
Perhaps it is the bit of Canadian blood within me, but I like maple things, in moderations. So I was excited to try Justin's Maple Almond Butter! However, I was sorely disappointed in it. While the consistency is thinner than other almond butters and easier to spread, it has a gritty texture and feel in the mouth that is not pleasant. I might be exaggerating a bit, but it almost tastes like you have a few grains of sand in one's mouth when chewing it. And the maple flavor is very weak and non-existent. Furthermore, the product is MUCH too salty, and I actually like salty things so it is much for me to admit that. I have had the pleasure of trying a few different Justin's almond butters and I most certainly would not recommend or buy this product over the other varieties.
