Sturdy enough to hold a paper plate full of food. Colors are bright and vibrant. Very pretty. We really needed extra paper plate holders for when our grandkids came over and brought girlfriends, boyfriends, and regular friends for visits to spend some time at our house on a lake with all the fun activities that entails, but of course that always includes a lunch of some sort. We only had 3 paper plate holders for the longest time until I decided to look for additional holders. These that I bought are just what we needed and I'm very pleased with them. They're thin and don't take up much space in the cupboard but they're also durable enough to hold a full plate of food. We're very happy with them.

I love these for holding paper plates. it gives stability if you have to eat from your lap and gives a nice pop of color to a summer table. I would have loved more to a set. After purchasing these I found a 12 pc set online of the same thing at this same price.

These plate holders are advertised as holding 9 inch plates. That is wrong. They can likely hold 8.5 inch plates. In order to “HOLD” a plate, the plate must fit under the flanges (red). If not, turn your arm, or get bumped, and the plate slides right off -what good is that? Please carry plate holders that hold 9” plates, or start selling 8.5” plates. Please fix this!!

They get a one star for Not holding a 9” paper plate in the snaps. These were bought because I'm down to two that I bought over 25 years ago. They worked perfectly but these will hold a 9” paper plate but will not allow you to snap them in without bending or cutting part of the plate off. I'd rather wash a dish than have to go through that every time I wanted to use paper.
