I bought this TV and I have to say that I am very pleased with it. After I ordered it I read the reviews and I was a little worried but the sound is good , picture is crystal clear and it gets great reception. I couldn't be happier !
3 pleasant surprises with this TV: - It has a lot of inputs, not just 3 x HDMI, USB, and cable/antenna coax. It also takes VGA, composite (yellow RCA connector) video, and component (red, green, blue RCA connectors) video. - 200mm VESA mounts (but not the screws). - Packaging is really good. Cardboard box is solid, not the typical recycled tissue paper you see with cheap electronics. Lots of styrofoam inside. Screen is well protected with plastic sheet across it, tape around the sheet, plastic bag over the whole thing. Other than that, it's a decent "dumb" TV, particularly at the price. Good picture, so-so sound. Not a lot of video or audio fine adjustments, but a few. Remote is easy to use and comes with batteries. Recommended if you're looking for a solid low-cost TV.
The process was amazing we are pretty lucky to live in a day in age where we can push a button and get what ever we want at our door step at unbelievable prices.Cant complain everything is great about tv make sure you turn on surround sound turns the sound to amazing and picture is great thanks again Walmart!!!!
I wish I had looked into the JVC Specification before I decided my purchase based on this economic price. This is my fault, but when I looked into the TV price, I completely forgot to see the Specification data which by the way it was not flexible to visualize unless you link into it. By having a better view of the Spec next to the price I would have considered buying a more expensive and better tech TV.
Like others have said it's a no frills tv. But it does what I need it to do. I bought it to replace a 720p. 23"Tv in my son room so, he can game bigger and better. Speakers are pretty horrible and the colors seem a bit off. I'll try to mess with that setting later. I'm happy with this purchase.
I purchased this TV in April. I'm noticing rainbow color reflections in the background of the picture, especially when I have the lights turned off in my room. Hard to explain, but I've tried tweaking the color/picture settings, nothing helps. Does anyone know who I can contact about this. It's been more than 30 days, so I can't return it. However, it's been less than 90 days since purchase. Surely there's still a warranty on it. It's practically brand new. Any help would be appreciated. Walmart's CS was not helpful. Surprised?
Tv had a good picture while it worked, but only had it six months and it went out!! It comes with a one year warranty supposedly, but does no good when you can't get a response at all from the company!! Would not buy JVC again, because of this reason!
What I liked? Price. Features for the price. What I DIDN'T LIKE? The fact that it lasted only about 4.5 months before it died on me. All of a sudden the display just pixelated and that was it. I unplugged it. Waited several minutes. Plugged back in. No Go. Unplugged for a couple of weeks. Same result. No Go. Still completely pixelated. And that is on any/no input.
This was a reconditioned item and had problems in the ability to program channels and settings that seem to have originated from a previous owner. That has been pretty frustrating. Also, this seems to be a tv made for Canadian markets, which is odd. The color settings are way off, no matter how I have tweaked them in custom settings. But the worst by far is that almost 8 months to the day since I bought this tv, the screen now has died. The sound functions and the channels can change, but the pixels that make up the screen images have all gone dark, all at once. I'm very disappointed that this didnt even last one whole year.
The sou d in tvis t.v. is terrible. I bought iti. April of 2022. At first it was wonderful but the reverb on speakers has gotten worse with every passing day. it is now August and we cannot sta d to have it turned up past a 14 due to the horrible tenor reverb.
